I sorta felt bad for Stacey this episode. She was gobsmacked by Gizelle and Karen’s shenanigans.

I think it was a bit of light messiness- Gizelle was producing and (thankfully) not in a hurtful way which has been her oeuvre for a while now. She knew what she was doing and Stacey handled it well- I’d actually like to see more of their dynamics next season. “I just didn’t know you were into charity” and “If I was a dog I’d bite Gizelle” made me laugh out loud.
Stacey’s faux-naivety is going to wear a bit thin if it continues much longer after how comfortably she sold Karen out to Mia.

She takes things on the chin, isn’t afraid to speak up, and has a really relatable sense of confusion about so much. I light up every time she’s on the screen.

The fish out of water newbie doesn't always work in these shows but it really has for Stacey, partly because she's genuinely charismatic and it always feels that there is an ever so slight darker edge that's hiding underneath.

I'm loving this season, though Jacqueline feels much more central than K. I wouldn't mind this whole cast back but losing Karen may be a much larger blow than they can easily ride out.
