I had to delete an older white gay coworker from Facebook who said the same thing around ‘cis’. A lot of people don’t like the acknowledgment of privilege that comes with being labeled - especially when so many have also faced their own marginalization. Two things can be true @ once but so many don’t like to recognize privilege and exclusion can coexist personally!
