The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (S5)

Seriously though, she started off last year in the far chair, at the very end. She was mocked by Monica for being irrelevant, even Mary made a dig (which incidentally was the start of their friendship), and now look.

Angie Center Snowflake and First Chair? I know that's right.

I really love Bronwyn and want to see her continue on the show but I worry that she’s putting herself on such an island that there won’t be a way forward for her.

I do appreciate her attitude of wanting everything out in the open but who is she going to end the season on good terms with? Let someone have a moment of cattiness with you without throwing them under the bus!

Echoing the other live watchers that this episode was phenomenal. I was gagged that Angie was able to send Bronwyn into a tailspin so effectively, it's wild how much the former has grown from the Season 3 reunion. And sorry but it was a SCREAM that Angie K was feeling her oats so much she got herself kicked out!

Lisa was kinda the winner this episode, when she was trying to talk Angie down outside the event it really felt like a genuine friendship in action. She was a terror the first half of the season (complimentary) so it's nice to have balance.

Mary and Meredith's interaction was fascinating, it's like they communicate with words but also not? I actually think the friendship is one of the more genuine in the series if only because they seem to understand each other's psyches.

“ No she doesn’t she’s lying”

“Don’t let her hurt your feelings… but you know what you do need Kerastase Thermatique”

Lisa might’ve just won the season with that. I squealed.

The way the women are eating these full episodes at one event! It really feeds into the chaos and the soap opera of it all. Anyone who thinks you don’t need talent to be on reality tv needs to just watch this season.

There was such a lightness to this episode and I think to the show in general. It's genuinely silly and seems like everyone's sort of in on the joke? It's clear no one takes themselves too seriously and thus is absolutely hilarious and a joy to watch.

Compared with, say, the current season of Beverly Hills.. which has such a somber melancholic energy to it. Watching the two new episodes of the respective series back-to-back was a bit of an eye opener of how much more entertaining Salt Lake currently is.

Bronwyn is such an interesting one to me. She’s kind of a chaos agent a little bit (but not like Brynn who just stirs shit and lies.) Like, I do fear she could isolate herself in the long run, but I do admire her gumption of walking into a new group of friends, having no real ties or loyalty to any of them yet, and making it abundantly clear (with facts! Like actual receipts proof timeline the way her mind is a steel trap) she’s not letting any of them get away with lies, half truths, or misremembered versions of events.

How this season has managed to have … what, 5 “best episodes ever” this season already is beyond me. These girls are firing on all cylinders.
