The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

She / Her
Heather shouting "your legs are giving!!!" at Trixie... ajdjfsdfs. This episode was so dense I feel like I'll need several rewatches to catch everything.

Mary is just. A national treasure. Every word out of her mouth is pure gold and she is truly firing on all cylinders every second the camera is on her.

I might just be too low in Lisa's bar but Monica's prickly about her was stupid. Stop complaining you lost your $60k ring cause I'm broke and it's tone deaf. I'm sorry, if I lost a $60 ring I'd still be upset and annoyed, you'd have to send me home cause I'd be whining all day, the trip would've been done for me. So yeah, mentioning it 7 times isn't that bad.

Also bringing up that you're getting a divorce and raising 4 kids alone as a reason why Lisa can't complain, when you're the reason you're getting divorced cause you cheated on your husband for 18 months, is also pretty idiotic.

He / Him / His
We’re only three episodes in but I honestly feel like everybody’s having a great season so far aside from Whitney and Angie, and even they’re serving a necessary evil in fuelling Meredith’s reactivation and Rolodex of accents.

- This is the lightest and most likeable Heather’s felt since Season 2
- Monica is a revelation of an addition
- Mary’s somehow managing to live up to my completely unrealistic expectations for her return
- I was worried we may have lost hope for a fully checked-in Meredith after everything that went down towards the end of Season 2 but this is shaping up to be her best showing ever?
- Lisa continues to lean into her persona just the right amount without it coming off contrived and in a way that makes her more insular moments away from the rest of the cast and drama her best (which is honestly a brilliant trait to have in terms of keeping the energy and moments up throughout the entire episode).

I'm obsessed with the palette of this season... Their cast photo with the neons, turquoise, purples and the show itself with all the icy blue, snowy interstitials, now the dry desert of Palm Springs with the sublimely ridiculous Trixie Motel, and we have the pink sand beaches and crystal waters of Bermuda to come. I just love looking at it.

Bestie you read my mind. I was thinking last night this season is visually gorgeous. As a collective I would say it’s the best fashions they’ve ever served too.

Listened to the Betches podcast with Meredith, it was good. She comments on the accents and says she doesn’t know when she’s doing it, but has a habit of picking up accents from people she’s been talking to (not sure who was British in Palm Springs dddd). Also, she picked out a nice outfit for Lisa but Lisa chose to wear the joke outfit and then she revealed why she was so upset going into the trip. Her friend’s grandson had been diagnosed with something (I can’t remember now) but obviously something major and because she was preparing for the trip (aka occupied with Housewives), she didn’t take her friends calls and I guess was feeling awful about it.

That was one of the best episodes in Housewives history. Mother Marks being delightfully unhinged with those random accents? Iconic! Close eyes together Angie getting dragged? Iconic! Trixie not giving a shit about Lisa's ring? Iconic! Heather returning to her season one self and being likable? Iconic! Lisa giving us her legendary "I love that!" Iconic! I could go on and on....

This show better never be cancelled.
