The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Am I imagining this or was there a rumour that they'd separated a while ago and she had a younger man on the go??

Monica was on the Behind The Velvet Rope Podcast and while I agree with some things she observed and said, she‘s still irritating and annoying as hell with her shrill voice and 14-yo mannerisms.

Anyway, bring her back!

As much as I enjoyed her time on the show, I always said the right decision was made when Bravo took her out of the cast. Why, under any situation, would anyone want to film with her when she was part of that account? When she potentially shoplifted from your store, at the very least lied about being there in the first place? Looking back, a lot of her storylines felt...not fake, but definitely not real. She was dreadful at the reunion, just awful. Also, the most important part of it all, is that now we can finally move on from Jen Shah. Monica was the final part of that story arc and now it's over. I hope the cast and producers have an eye on the future now.

he/him
Monica really kinda fired herself by not even attempting to make inroads with anyone. Andy tried very hard at the reunion to give her that opportunity and she refused to take it. She can't be on the show if everyone refuses to have her around. She doesn't have the charisma of Danielle Staub to pull it off, either. It's possible she wouldn't have made it regardless of what she said at the reunion, but she really helped dig the grave.

Monica is probably a break in case of emergency recasting depending on how the next couple seasons shake out. Regardless of how anyone feels about her, she was a large part of SLC having it's biggest pop culture moment so far and that's likely a new benchmark everyone involved in the show is going to be trying to hit again.

I remain on a different hill regarding the reunion but it's not worth rehashing. I have more faith in the core four here than any other city so I feel confident we're heading for another great season regardless.

I think a lot of Monica’s impact was the gag of it all rather than anything she actually brought to the table as a personality. She was entertaining to watch, but we all know that’s not the reason the show captured the zeitgeist. She played the part she needed to play, but I don’t think bringing her back will have the same effect without the big reveal waiting on the other side.

She was a biT insufferable at the reunion but that’s mostly down to her being thoroughly bereft of the type of wit that would allow you to verbally spar in a way that provides any actual entertainment. Her defaulting to like “old! ugly!” during so many of her arguments isn’t funny nor endearing nn.
