I bought the reissue of the Pretenders' first album. I want the second one, but they are expensive and I already have the 2006 reissues. But I love the first album so much I had to double-dip again.
It is weird though that Rhino didn't try to add vinyl to this edition since it is in vinyl-size packaging.
Absolutely. The discs sound great (at least to me, but it’s my first time listening to it), has the single versions and some other tracks I’ve never heard before, and the DVD is just an added bonus. If the DVD is your primary reason… eh?I was ready to treat myself to the Physical reissue but the Amazon reviews made me hesitate….especially re: those audio glitches on the DVD.
to anyone who already has it, is it still worth getting? I’m well aware those reviewers might be overreacting to a less-than-perfect product and I don’t want to just write it off.

The worst audio glitch is the one that happens after the credits finish. It’s very loud so as long as you stop it when the credits begin you should be fine?
And for that my wallet breathes a sigh of relief. There have been so many reissues recently that I'm glad for a bit of a break.
