I ended up picking up the Life Thru a Lens deluxe and it really is nicely put together. It's the kind of treatment all of Kylie's albums should get.
add PSB, Madonna, Janet. Michael… the only missing think is a dvd/br with videos and live performances, but various Amazon European sites lists LTAL reissue this way:
Life Thru A Lens (25th Anniversary / 4CD / 1 Blu Ray Box Set)
Are they just vinyl?Just wondering what is going to be on these cher reissues that isn't already out there

Much as I like Su Pollard and that song, some of its popularity will have been a) due it its inclusion on a BBC wedding documentary thing watched by millions at the time, and b) because Su was in the incredibly popular comedy Hi-de-Hi!Each to their own of course, but baffled that Su Pollard song made it all the way to #2 back in the day!
And the theme to Connie..."The Show" by Rebecca Storm. Can't even remember what it was like, but it was a big seller despite peaking just outside the Top 20.I wish now did a now that whats we call hard to get hold of
featuring songs like
Mainframe - 5 minutes
Boys Dont Cry - I wanna be a cowboy
Russ Abbott - Atmosphere etc
there is enough not on cd stuff out there surely.
Love Connie, and that song...And the theme to Connie..."The Show" by Rebecca Storm. Can't even remember what it was like, but it was a big seller despite peaking just outside the Top 20.
If Company B's Fascinated is in 7" edit form that is a real rarity, just pre-ordered for that alone.
We also didn't have Jane McDonald then, what were we to do?Much as I like Su Pollard and that song, some of its popularity will have been a) due it its inclusion on a BBC wedding documentary thing watched by millions at the time, and b) because Su was in the incredibly popular comedy Hi-de-Hi!
The song was also written by TV presenter Bill Buckley, who used to be on the Esther Rantzen programme That's Life - not that that would have made much difference to the casual buyer.
No doubt ill probably buy this as i am a sucker for 80s comps...... despite owning zillions of them.
We also didn't have Jane McDonald then, what were we to do?
It was the 80s, so that would have been Hampstead Heath.Dammit, now I need 'Cruising with Su Pollard'.
Dammit, now I need 'Cruising with Su Pollard'.
