What a shame. I was excited by this a couple of days ago. But seven tracks??!
Once upon a time, you'd get that (a 6-7 track bonus EP) with initial copies of a release, or as part of a re-release (costing the same as a standard disc).
I already own multiple CD versions of Janet including the original deluxe CD, the OZ tour edition and the Japanese version so there is nothing of interest on that sad CD reissue.
I will get the vinyl though since for some reason it is the only Janet album I don´t own on LP. It looks great too!

I will be getting the Janet re issue, but yes, shame it was not more on it. Vinyl looks gorgeous though.

Maybe we'll get some more 'Janet' singles packages to streaming when the album get's released. That seems to work very well (for me at least).
Janet, really is the album that deserves an true deluxe special edition.

I was gonna joke "I hope it's more than 7 tracks on the bonus CD" - and it's not much more is it. How many of those were on the CD-singles of the period, as I might try and source those rather than spend £20 for the album which to my ears sounds perfect as it is.

As well as UK & US singles remixes and US & UK album mixes as they differered on a lot of tracks.
I would have liked them to include the tracks that were remixed especially for the US version of the album (even though they are not great), just to have all the versions re-mastered in one package.
CD 2 feels a bit lackluster and I really don´t like it when a remix of the same song is featured four times in a row, I much prefer when they are scattered throughout the disc.
That said, the UK version is one of Cher´s finest albums and often criminally underrated. Glad that it is finally getting a re-issue and a long overdue vinyl debut.
Yes I only became aware recently that the US version of the album was a bit of a clusterfuck.

Such an underrated record. Probably my favourite by Cher as it happens.
Overall it´s my favorite Cher record too. A shame it was pretty much destroyed for the US market.
