Some CD stores would help!We need a CD Store Day imho.
You mean that one shelf in the charity shop? Love that place! Some CD stores would help!
I feel like RSD has lost sight of what it set out to promote - the saving of high street music stores. Now it’s all about overpriced and mostly unnecessary vinyl. Why it can’t have a soft reboot and factor in CDs (that are now slowly becoming collectible again from what I’ve read in various places) to go back to the idea of the music store being the focus. Some CD stores would help!
I’ve picked up a few many months later that I missed out upon in the scrum on the day. So much so that last year I just wandered into the shop in the afternoon once things had settled down. Maybe the scalpers are being stung that not every release has a big enough demand to net them a profit laterTo be honest I’ve always got whatever I wanted on the online sales afterwards, the pressing quantities have definitely increased over the years.
Pop Justice for the humble CD!We need a CD Store Day imho.

Who actually buys cassettes? One of the charity shops I was in, had a reasonable haul but all £4 each. Even I wouldn't pay that for Bobby Brown.Agreed.
I mean they have released a few Cassettes for RSD this year (a dead format to me), would love to see more exclusive CDs added.
Specifically CD Single. We need a CD Store Day imho.
Very good idea!Specifically CD Single.
Something like what we get for RSD. Proper Maxi's with rare remixes and newly made ones.Very good idea!
That's your prerogative.Who actually buys cassettes? One of the charity shops I was in, had a reasonable haul but all £4 each. Even I wouldn't pay that for Bobby Brown.
Don't Be CruelThat's your prerogative.
The price of cassettes nowadays… I just cant. There’s just no way of justifying it.Who actually buys cassettes? One of the charity shops I was in, had a reasonable haul but all £4 each. Even I wouldn't pay that for Bobby Brown.
I’m On My Own here aren’t I.Don't Be Cruel
