Yep. I wonder if she even get asked now. I know they did in the 90s when 80s music was seen as a dirty word and they didn't want to be seen as an 80s act so said no. surely, they can't care about any of that nonsense now.
Vince Clarke definitely wouldn't consider licensing any of his act's music to any comp with "80s" in the title a few years ago when I was working in this field. Perhaps his former bandmates have a similar policy.
 
Yep, sacrilege! Notorious and Big Thing are great albums, really underrated.

All She Wants Is, is still one weird out there track, it does want to be Warm Leatherette though.
‘Notorious’ was their last truly great album until "All You Need Is Now" - but I’ve come to appreciate ‘Big Thing’ much more over time than I did on its release.
 
Don't know if this has been mentioned, but B-Movie Hidden Treasures is getting released on 30th May 2025.

So the day has finally arrived that both, you the fans and us the band, have been waiting for, for a very long time, over 40 years to be precise.......... !
Friday 30th May 2025 will see the release of ‘Hidden Treasures’, which is essentially the 1982 debut album by B-Movie, that never materialised back in the day
‘Hidden Treasures’ is a ten track vinyl LP which not only contains the three classic singles ‘Marilyn Dreams’, ‘Nowhere Girl’ & ‘Remembrance Day’ but a further seven previously unheard/unreleased recordings, whilst the accompanying CD and digital versions will include an extra seven tracks of 12” mixes, their b-sides and the legendary track ‘Moles’
These recordings have been digitised and restored from the original master tapes where possible and housed in brand new artwork with extensive sleeve notes and photographs
The album will be available as a standard black vinyl, a very limited blue vinyl exclusive to Rough Trade stores, an extended CD and across all digital platforms
It is a worldwide release via Cargo Independent Distribution and therefore should be available to order from your local record store wherever on the planet you reside:
