I tried a few different search word combos but didn't see a thread for this show. It wasn't even on my radar until a week ago, but a friend recommended it when I asked for a covid binge. It's fucking great?! It's completely absurd and when you lean into it, it's a blast. Danny McBride writes/stars alongside John Goodman, Adam Devine, and the hysterical Edi Patterson. Jennifer Nettles also plays an important role / sings a stupid catchy country Christian song. It follows the Gemstone family who owns a megachurch. Their father (Goodman) has been pastor for decades and the Danny, Adam, and Edi play his bickering children trying to impress him and slowly take control of the church for their own reasons. Combine Weeds, Saved, and Succession. They're 3 episodes into their 2nd season and it's as batshit as ever.
