Välkommen!

One man, one woman.
Guitars.
Pianos.

Interesting hair and clothing choices.
Joy, heartbreak, and cold cups of coffee left on a picnic table on a cold summer's day...
...it's Roxette.

We're here to celebrate and countdown Per and Marie's greatest hits. Need a quick intro?

Unchallenged masters of the sad ballad, Marie's voice drips with pain but she can twist that to angst and joy for their uptempo pop-rock anthems in the blink of an eye.

In the usual method of approach, we'll be rating their singles (and some promo singles) from 0 to 10 with that one elusive 11 for the song that lays you to waste, preferably while candles burn on an uneaten birthday cake as the sea churns under a miserable sky.

As I don't envision huge numbers for this, the rate will be divided into two parts - 25 mandatory singles and 25 optional extras, so nobody can complain there's too much or too little.

I like a lot of Per songs, but he did begin to repeat himself a bit after 1994. Will be interesting to judge all the songs afresh.

My personal chart rectified the mistake and had these as "singles":

1991
Joyride #2
Fading Like A Flower #1
The Big L #1
Spending My Time #2
(Do You Get) Excited #6

1992
I Remember You #6
Church Of Your Heart #3
Things Will Never Be The Same #2
Perfect Day #2

While you gheys wait for this, let me just place this ginormo-bop complete with key change from Per earlier this year

I hope the singles from Have a nice day do well, it's such a brilliant album and I was devastated when Wish I could fly just missed out on the top ten in the UK bless em.
