I've been banned from our living room while the funeral is on due to my feelings on the matter. Guess I'm going to enjoy the quiet and settle down with a good book.
You can give the queen a good send off while indulging in nookie but watch out for Monkey pox and Covid though. We don't take responsibility for that but have a glass of champagne on us! Enjoy!
I would love to watch the Panorama interview in full but it appears to have been obliterated from the internet, at least in the UK.
I went around to Trafalgar Sq this morning to get an idea of the vibe. Also, my mum and sisters wanted a video of what it was all like just to get a better idea of the atmosphere. Fucking hell, even at 6am the area was insanely packed. Have you ever done New Years in London? It was exactly like that. They closed off roads leading out of Trafalgar Sq within seconds so everyone was basically trapped. I thankfully managed to get home but the whole thing seems so unorganised and frankly chaotic. I can’t wait for all of this to be over!!!
I don't know what you expected it to be? Like, the news has been reporting that people having been camping out overnight and people have been arriving for ages - it's also, whether you agree with the monarchy or not, one of the biggest things to happen in the country - it was very naturally going to be full and super busy.
“Those who serve will be loved and remembered when those who cling to power and privileges are long forgotten” not the Archbishop of Canterbury using his 3 minutes at the funeral to drag the Tories.
Supposedly those blue bloods are getting an extra 3 grand for working today... Let's not mention how the MET were clapping their hands with glee at the timing of all this.
I swear it’s all I’ve heard about today, we fought the revolutionary war in America for a reason, idgaf about the Royals except for Harry and Diana.
