The Royal Family

Harry and Meghan need to fire and sue whoever did their documentary. I know documentaries use stock footage all the time but the production company should have KNOWN that this would be under a microscope. Just use real footage of the paparazzi chasing them, I don't get it. It's a documentary, film what is going on around them and use that.

You need to pay the paps / get clearance, it's not that easy.

From what I've seen they've used footage from paps but of other celebs?

I'm shocked they used stock pap footage at all, they're giving money and support to the thing they are speaking out against. Again, what would have made more sense would be to film them encountering the paparazzi e.g. Britney in For the Record. Would have made more impact seeing it from their angle and wouldn't be supporting the paparazzi.

(Disclaimer: I've not actually watched the documentary yet, only clips)

They should be honored Katie Price’s court case ended up as pap footage.

And yes, I know Katie should be in jail too.

That hideous ’article’ in The S*n written by the twat that was sacked from Top Gear perfectly illustrates and supports everything Harry and Meghan have said.

So what if they’ve used some stock footage in the documentary or it’s not sensationalist throughout.

The vitriol levelled at this woman for simply existing is truly horrific and they absolutely made the right choice leaving their unsupportive family behind.

The bit of the article I saw on social media is pretty hideous. Surely there are some legal boundaries that have been crossed or is tabloid culture in the UK so rampant?

Also, what a vile family. I'm glad they got out of there.

Clarkson had dinner with Camilla days before this was published apparently

Two awful people for the price of one.

I can’t help thinking that the monarchy feels precarious again, like it did in the late ‘90s. Maybe I’m wrong? Who would have predicted back then that they’d draft in ‘Queen’ Camilla amid a smokescreen to deflect from the King’s paedophilic brother?

What’s irritating me the most is the comments on social media running to Clarkson’s defence in the name of “free speech”, but those same people are cutting down the people who are saying “actually, we don’t like what he said and think it was out of order” and branding them as “woke cancel culture snowflakes”.

If JC is entitled to make the comments he did, then we are just as entitled to disagree with him. Gammons don’t seem to think it works both ways.

I honestly do not understand the British press and public’s obsession with hating on Meghan. News flash folks - what she does or doesn’t do has NO impact on your life. Don’t like her? Then stop buying her books, reading articles about her and watching her documentary. It’s quite easy.

I hate the 'free speech' defence!

The right to free speech ends when that very speech is about taking away rights from others. Essentially he is calling for sexual assault and physical aggression on an individual. And I don't understand why it's not illegal.

I've said it before but I didn't think the fall of Britain on all levels would come this quick after Brexit.
