Looks like @soratami and @Duppe get their wish, much to the dismay of @Remorque.

Hazey Says | Well I’ve always had a bit of a soft-spot for this song, even though it’s been universally hated by fans. I think the chorus is a little bit of a power-pop moment - like the best and most interesting thing you’d hear on the radio station in your dentist office; the one time you’d actually leave wanting to find out who that was by. Also, the little softer moments from Una and the bridge by Mollie. (8)

In 2015, the song was ripped apart for being sequenced between Ego and One Shot on the tracklist and for apparently having dodgy vocals from everyone involved.

Commentary

@Hazey's Mom (8.5) - What a catchy chorus!

@louciano (8.5) - Would benefit from some better verses, but the chorus is amongst their best.

@Phonetics Girl (8) - I just know this will end up overmaligned. Yes, this is at best inoffensive and the vocals are a bit whiny but Una's "we are good cause we're not" is worth an additional point or two.

@daninternational (7.5) - Somehow even though it feels quite 'empty' I also enjoy it.

@Ezz (6) - Feels a bit demo-y somehow.

@Shockbox (6) - The chorus is still strong but the verses are just quite boring.

@saviodxl (5.9) - A song title that tells you the number of people that really cared about it.

@Scaper (4) - Who played this album without skipping this song? No one. I blame this being track 4 on Wordshaker flopping.

@Sally_Harper (3) - This isn’t very good, but I do like the line “You’re a liability so shut your mouth” and *whispers* I like Frankie’s bit, purely because it’s a novelty for her to go big vocally.

It seems like the opinion is that there's a good song (at least a chorus) in there if you're willing to open up to it, but that the style of the song isn't exactly what most Saturdays fans are looking for from the group. So in the grand scheme, it gets tossed aside pretty quickly.

I'm going to give it to these three, who received 5, 5, and 4 shoutouts a piece. The other two girls only have ever gotten 1 each.

#75 will be our first proper B-Side, after the two extras at the beginning of the countdown.

I guess No One would have done at least a bit better if it was lower in the tracklist, but being track #4, and sandwiched between two of the best songs in the album no less, really makes it stick out in a bad way. I definitely didn't think it'd be the first song from Wordshaker out, but it's no big loss either.

No One sounds like a debut cast-off in the same vein as Not Good Enough, which probably should have left before this one since it is definitely worse.

I hate to go against you on this (or anything), but this opinion is a bit absurd. Though I do know Not Good Enough is a bit polarizing among fans, it shouldn't be. It should be universally acclaimed!

I thought perhaps it was the typical PJ balladphobia, but then you look at how well Chasing Lights and Denial did in the previous rate and rightly so, but songs like Wish I Didn't Know, Died In Your Eyes, Here Standing, Lies, Fall somehow all making the Top 50 but this gets 3rd last, like... it's not adding up loves.....

I actually used to like it a lot, but on re-listening to it for the rate I found it...Not Good Enough.

I will say it's been interesting doing this rate since it has actually been years since I'd listen to most of The Saturdays discography besides the odd single. So I definitely found my opinion had changed on some songs, and going into the rate I had no idea what my 11 was going to be, and what it ended up being surprised me!

Thank goodness 2015's #75 has officially moved up and become our first rank-mover. (Problem With Love)

Hazey Says | The line “Put your loving hand out baby” in the chorus has a nice melody to it. Definitely gets a thumbs up for doing something different and mostly excelling at it. I’m not necessarily listening to this band for a song like this though, so it just never got me that excited. Sounds a lot like what people had against "No One", whereas I like that one more. (6)

It’s a cover of the 1967 song by the Four Seasons and the band played it as an acoustic piece at their shows. It was a B-Side to Issues.

Despite the low ranking in 2015, many voters defended it for the acoustic version and the harmonies.

Commentary

@Sally_Harper (8) - I remember being obsessed with this in 2009-ish. Still great.

@Hazey's Mom (7) - Too needy, if you have to beg, then he is not worth it!

@Phonetics Girl (7) - Nice for an acoustic cover but it's inclusion as a b-side seems low effort, especially when other offcuts from this era are so interesting.

@Scaper (6.5) - The Saturdays walked so Maneskin could run. Generous queens.

@Ezz (6.5) - Some lovely harmonizing…

@daninternational (6) - If only The Saturdays had won Eurovision instead of Måneskin. Inessential

@saviodxl (5.6) - I low key like the Maneskin version of this.

@louciano (3) - Not a song that I would have expected the girls to cover. Not a great cover of it either.

I don't know what or who a Maneskin is, but I'll grab a video and post the song mentioned a few times in the commentary.

Tomorrow begins with another B-Side at #74. (So, the aforementioned "Problem with Love" goes up at least two spots from 2015)

Great start to the results. Thanks @DJHazey.

See, I don't understand this because I feel like one of the few things the song has going for it is some good vocal production. Mollie sounds great. They've let Una emote. Frankie's bit isn't great until the very end - that final note is one of her best despite being a difficult note.

Beggin' is just a bit boring isn't it. It was less so when they first performed it on Live Lounge.
