The Saturdays

Vanessa has the least amount of social media followers/media interest though. She's stunning and vocally the strongest but I just can't see her becoming a solo star. I think she should record material as I love her voice but I doubt it'll ever be a success.

Vanessa is coming for Nicola's bargain bin sales.

In an alternate universe, they should have been the biggest girl band around this time. And they didn't need to go solo.

But if ever one of them goes solo, I hope all of them do it (featuring on each other albums of course, you know harmonising in the chorus). That way we could just pretend that it's a new Saturdays' album.

...They barely did it when they were actually in a group...

(Which is a big fucking shame, to be honest. I feel like there was a lot to exploit there and they never did and probably never will.)

I know right. It was such a waste of potential. Because when they actually do harmonies I get goosebumps.

I actually think Vanessa has a good chance but, I agree, it will depend on her management and securing radio play. She has the voice but she also has an ounce of a personality unlike the other four. Her management need to get her on big talk shows and hopefully the public will take to her as will radio.

No, they need to relaunch her as a new act, like Karen Harding. London, housey, hip records by young UK people.

I can clearly picture Rochelle going solo and her album being released with a sticker on the cover that says:

"Lead singer of The Saturdays (What About Us was a #1 and fastest selling single of 2013), TV presenter alongside her husband - who's had plenty of #1's, philantropist, overprotective mom of her faceless child, decorator and now releasing her first solo album featuring the smash summer hit 'Hi, Da Quen C'est Moi'".

None of The Saturdays would have a successful solo career. They barely kept it going as a group so why would the public warm to them individually?

Poppycock!

Imagine how amazing Mollie would be without dragging the groups promo around pregnancies, play group and nativity plays.

Isn't Mollie more likely to become a Britney Spears tribute act playing in pubs and clubs? She'll be on Britain's Got Talent next year.

As much as I love Mollie, she is suited to a girl group only. She has the same vocal ability as Cheryl and one Cheryl terrorising us is enough.

Mollie is nothing like Cheryl, Mollie is sweet in terms of pretty much anything - personality, voice, attitude etc. I don't think she even wants to go solo but if she did then I would be here for it. I don't think any of the girls except Vanessa have been recording or if they have it's been kept hush hush.

Some insiders reported Una has been hitting the studios a lot last year, alone.

It's also most likely the studio time Mollie had was for songwriting and she, I presume, did the demo vocals.
