Sorry, I don't get it.

I said Vanessa is the best singer. Having amazing skills doesn't mean beautiful souding voice. The best example is Nicole Scherzinger I think. A lot of people says she's a great singer, but her voice doesn't sound that good. It's the same case with Vanessa, that's it.
If I'm a fan of Mollie, it's not because I like her hair (so let's say that she sounds good !), it's because I really like the tone of her voice.

When they were new in the music market, my favorite was Vanessa. Well, obviously, she was the only one singing ! Plus, she was cute, she seemed shy and gentle (now, she comes across like a lazy and uninterested girl) But when I bought their album, everything changed. I thought Mollie got a really soft voice that I liked.

So yeah, if I'm a fan of Mollie it's because of her souding voice. Yeah, she would probably sounds horrible if they let her sing a complete song, etc... But, for now, with what she's doing, she's the best at "sounding good". And the preview of Ladykiller just proved me that I'm not totally wrong.

Please don't compare with Vanessa with Nicole. Nicole's voice has a horrible tone, i know i'm a huge Vanessa fan (clearly) and i'm not being biased but i think her tone is amazing and i think its bull for people to say she can't sing soft.

I don't say Vanessa's tone is any kind of horrible, oh my god ! I say that Mollie's voice on soft part like the middle-8 of Here Standing for example, will always sounds better than Vanessa singing TO MY EARS. Obviously, Vanessa kills Mollie one shot with her amazing vocal skills, but I really prefer the soft tone of Mollie to the tone of Vanessa, that's it.

I do think Vanessa used to enjoy it much more, it seems she gets her way most of the time now which is unfortunate as she comes across badly with the lateness, seeming disinterested and doesn't care how she looks. She used to be one of my faves and I still think her voice is stunning at times.

To be fair, Vanessa has said from the start that she only wants to be a singer. Mollie and Frankie are pretty much the "celebrities" of the band (obsessed with fashion, dogs, photoshoots and TV shows), Rochelle and Una are pretty much focused on having a music career (lots of effort with writing, promoting, signings, interviews, rehearsals etc) and then Vanessa seems to only care about the performing aspect. She's never been as enthusiastic as the other girls in the flips (unless they're doing something non-music related like running around a hotel or in the car), never speaks much in their interviews, was barely featured in the 24/7 series and although she does seem like she enjoys performing, the constant playing with her hair and looking at the ground suggests she is still quite shy and uncomfortable with being in the public eye.

I think she's been so run down with the early mornings, late nights, tours, travelling, promotion, recording etc over the years that she's now seeing her career as more of a chore than fun. It probably doesn't help that the other four girls are always hailed for their looks and fashion sense which puts pressure on Vanessa, and has turned to more boozing and smoking which is harming her voice as well.

I blame it on shyness, though. I don't think Vanessa is lazy. Sure she might not be as chirpy and upbeat as Mollie and Una all the time but she is still a human being. It's not like she's throwing MAJOR strops or threatening to quit the band or bitching about the other girls. When it comes down to it, she always puts effort into her live performances and when meeting fans, which I think is the most important thing.

And Universal, as partners in Fascination Management, make money from all these endorsements too. They'll continue churning out the albums so long as the girls continue gigging regularly and endorsing big brands. Music isn't the only way they're making money and so they have time to improve the album sales.

She's got her long locks back - she got extentions very recently. I'm sure before and during the tour she'll drop a couple of pounds (naturally). I think she is incredibly beautiful. Anyway, as long as she's happy. Maybe she put too much pressure on herself to lose weight (as she lost that weight quite quickly), she looks great either way!

I know that. I was just talking about how they always need to make them look as tall as eachothers. In this case, they put their heads into the same body and change a bit the color skin.

I'm talking "in general". It's a thing they always do and it's bad.
