The Saturdays

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

Pregnant women can legally work up to two weeks before they are due. Life doesn't stop when you're pregnant and there are health and safety risk everywhere. I imagine they will have done lots of assessments and ensured she's well looked after on set. She's likely to be doing very minimal work and I can't imagine she'll be on set for long. They'll probably do her takes in one go at the start of the day. And anyway, for all we know, they are filming in her house.

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

I'm not suggesting life doesn't stop when you're pregnant, and as it goes I think she's done a wonderful job of juggling her own commitments with the groups scheduelle. Going on tour, not missing any promotion etc.

I think people are over-estimating what this video will deliver though. If what you're suggesting is what is going to happen then there would only be one set (or similar look-a-like sets) and one 'look' (ie hair, make-up and clothes). They can't shoot all one person's shots in a go if there's more than one look and set.

At the end of the day, the girls are going to want what is best for Una, and Una will have her babies interests at heart and I don't think she'd want to put herself under any extra stress or situation in this stage of her pregnancy. Her dancing abilities are going to be limited, so that rules out any group choreo shots (which is why I think there wont be any in it). Unless they have come up with a good storyline plot (which could be true given that they have had casting sessions) that would be a good concept. We don't realistically want another 'My Heart Takes Over' esque video.

Why do you associate the fact that there will no routine to My Heart Takes Over ? Notorious, Higher, Ego, Forever Is Over, and more didn't have a routine/choreo either.

Actually, when you think about it, Una could do every scenes from the Ego video and I consider it as one of their best, if not their best video.

I'm not saying this video is going to be amazing. I'm actually waiting for something really basic...But I just don't like the fact that people are pessismist about it, only because Una's pregnant.

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

Watch it turn out to be a reworked single version as Una's baby song, The Way You Watch Over Me.

Up and ready to shoot our new video. Bump will be edited out of the video so our director will be working his camera skills magic today!

I don't want bump in the video because she will be born when it hits the tv screens so it wouldn't make sense or relevance by then! x

Message from their PR team is that it's a brand new track and it's out in April.

Thank God for that! Must be one of the Xenomania tracks they recorded and wrote with Brian and Miranda back in January last month. Yay! A big glossy electropop track with an undeniable killer chorus, and plenty of punch and oomph please. I hope it is proper lead single material, and that they've thought about it. I hope they've chosen the right track to go with as lead for once, nothing lacklustre and promote the hell out of it.

And please let them pick a reasonably quiet release week.

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

I'm relieved it's a new track. The Way You Watch Me is my least favourite track on the album.

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

YESSSS to the new track. Now all we need is a rerelease of the album (provided the single is a hit) and a flat-out promo schedule and Team Sats will actually have done something right for a change! Come on girls you can do it!

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

April??

Can't see it being for a re-release now. I'd imagine they're going to release another album in August (ala Headlines) except this time it'll have two singles before it.

This means we're probably hearing the song soon then?

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

I can't wait to see the video now! I want to see edited-baby-bump-out Una!

Afterall, they could have a dance routine with a Una double, then just work their magic to make it look like Una is dancing. Or like people have said, there might not be a routine.

I'm glad it's not out until April. Why? Because that means the video will be done for mid-March, song premiered in the next few weeks, they can have everything prepared. Plus, by the time promo hits, Una will have had the baby, and possibly a few weeks rest depending on the timing of the baby and single release date.

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

Apparently they're shooting the video at Starvin Marvins in Perivale (in Ealing, London)? It's an old school American styled diner.

If it's true I want them to definitely all be flirty waitresses in the retro outfits tottering around on heels with them serving food and taking orders, standing round at the counter etc, pulling a few 'cheeky' faces which'll make it more fun with their personality and keep Shadow satisifed haha and then break out into a dance in the middle of the restaurant (obviously with less action from Una).

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

I am actually too excited for words. New music already?!? YES.

Re: The Saturdays - The Way You Watch Me (Fourth Single)

Wow, I'm glad we're getting new music. My only question would be if its for a re-release or something new entirely.

Something a la Higher, but a bit more dancey so it fits in with their newer stuff would be great.

So basically Uptown Girl by Westlife.

I.E. It's not a ballad and pregnant women will not do.
