The Saturdays

It was constantly on. That and Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All/Stronger. We have a radio tuned into Radio 1 in our workshop so it's always on.

I don't understand why Missing You is so disliked on these boards, I absolutely love it. Its my favorite single of theirs, I think, its very special.

Missing You is possibly one of their best songs. It's just so euphoric, yet incredibly sad at the same time. It's one of those songs from them that deserved the #1 position.

If they were to just release an 'album' with past tracks for the US, my tracklist would include:

"All Fired Up" - Album cover would be the AFU single cover.

1. All Fired Up
2. Notorious
3. Higher (feat. Flo Rida)
4. Ego
5. Issues
6. Faster
7. My Heart Takes Over (Radio Edit)
8. Missing You
9. Get Ready, Get Set
10. Up (Single Mix)
11. White Lies
12. One Shot (Starsmith Remix)
13. The Way You Watch Me (feat. Travie McCoy)
14. Forever Is Over (Radio Edit)
15. Last Call

Can't really argue with that tracklist except maybe include Work instead of My Heart Takes Over. There were multiple reasons why Work didn't do well in the UK but I don't think it's because it was a bad song, I think it actually sounds very US friendly, a much better song that My Heart Takes Over anyway.

I'd replace The Way You Watch Me with Work. They have a very strong selection of tracks though. I wonder what the new album will sound like.

I honestly think the best option would be to try and recapture the essence of the first album but improve the production and share the vocals more equally. Its not their best album production wise but it felt like actual effort and thought had gone into it, whereas the following albums all felt a bit jumbled.

However, I got great expectations for this single.
It's not that I want it to be their best yet, but they really need to get a good single because they totally ditched amazing songs from On Your Radar for that single...So yeah, it needs to be quite good.

Though we like different tracks off "On Your Radar" I agree. If they release an underwhelming single that's brand new when they have better material off of On Your Radar, it'll be very disappointing to know they ditched the album for a track that isn't as good.

Reverting back to the harmonies and the actual choruses they had that weren't so black and white lead by one particular member would be amazing. They should just have each girl lead a different chorus on one song, maybe give two to Vanessa or Una then just fill the rest of the album with big choruses in which they all sing together. That's when they sound the best.

I wouldn't put any tracks from On Your Radar on the US album.
Only the singles we know and the next singles that are going to come soon.

I love OYR, I consider it as their best, but they aren't going to release that US album in the summer, you know, it might take some time. My point is, On Your Radar will be far away and they would probably have more singles then.

So yeah, the current singles + the ones that will come. That's enough.

I'm seriously loving the Mollie avatars. Mandy-Fan and DanielS94 should just have a conversation to fill the page up with her.

Everyone should have one, she has so many amazing moments in that video!

lauc05 : you forgot flapjack- !

We can talk about how Mollie should be singing all this new single by herself, but will probably end up having no lines on the song ! Hopefully, there going to be lot of hairflips to compensate.

Why? They can just put two or three new songs at the end and call it an International edition. And they can release it the same day of the TV show's premiere, so people will be able to purchase the songs they hear from day one.

They may be lucky at getting big deals, but they are not in the position of wasting all those perfectly current tracks.

Re: The Saturdays - Fourth Single

She should sing the complete song and leave the harmonies for the other girls.

Re: The Saturdays - Fourth Single

And the video should be 85% footage of her with the other 5% the girls, and the other 10% being group shots (with Mollie in front.)
