Re: The Saturdays - Fourth Single

I don't understand why the All Fired Up cover wasn't used for the album. It doesn't really make sense that the colour idea was used for a single cover but not the album cover.

Not to mention Rochelle saying that Marv was a 9/10 in bed. I was disgusted for weeks. Celebrities don't have sex.

Are you kidding? Not that I do, but imagine how gorgeous and loving the sex must be between Benuna?
Brangelina, The Beckhams, Britney and K-Fed... they all look quite wild.

I have this feeling that Mollie and David will eventually get back together in the future.

I hope so too. They looked good together... it was in the press that he said he could see them being together for the next 40 years (so basically together forever) when that story came out about them moving to India, but then after they split he said she was never the one bla bla, but that he thinks they could get back together in the future when their schedules die down. Confusing guy! That's if those stories were direct quotes from him.

I hope he didn't just use her to get a few more column inches and an increased profile, but he didn't seem like that kind of guy. Think it was just a case of them being so busy with their careers. He seems like a nice guy, I saw him at Wembley when the girls played there on tour back in December with Mollie's family if I remember.

I think it might've just been a case of the press twisting his words, like he could've said the split might have been an indication she 'wasn't the one' or something like that.

He's famous enough as it is, so I don't think he was using Mollie at all. It really was just a conflict in schedules, I think.

Yeah, I'd have preferred them to have kept the whole colour thing continuing through their album covers. On Form's website, the design company that shot the single covers and album cover for the OYR era, they said they wanted to make them more mature but the album cover just looked creepy and a bit, bland and well quite frankly, a little bit rubbish. The All Fired Up single cover was mature and stood out, but it still maintained the youthful look and colours that appeal to everyone. I want Form to shoot the new single cover!

Their website is here if anyone wants a peek: http://www.form.uk.com/portfolio/music/. They've done some great stuff elsewhere for other people too!

I'd never heard of him until the press first broke the news of their relationship haha. But yes, I'd agree it was just them being too busy individually.

He one of the world's top male models and Mollie, as we all know, is busy as a bee with The Saturdays. They're very busy people essentially but I think if they genuinely love each other, they'd find a way to get back together when the time is right.

Indeed! They looked like such a good couple.

Not long till Una pops now! That's gone by so quickly!

I was actually going through GQ the other day and David was in about 4-5 of the ads in the mag representing big names like banana republic, dolce & gabana, etc. He definitely had looks and seemed like a nice guy. I do hope Mollie and him can work it out in the end.

I've just been watching all their videos and this is so silly, but it really annoys me at around 1:36 in the All Fired Up video when Frankie's strap on her shoulder on her dress moves out of place, like it folds over. It's not even that bad or obvious, nor attention drawing haha, but I always notice it and it bugs me because her scene looks perfect but then when she moves the strap moves out of place haha. I'm worryingly/stupidly OCD with things like that. And Una's dancing at 2:56 with her arms cracks me up every time, when she waves her arms stretched around and bends her hands inwards.

I think my favourite bits are when they appear from behind Vanessa out of nowhere when the song kicks in, and a bit further on when the camera moves upwards when they each have their arm outstretched (0:24). Oh and when they walk forward a little, then turn round and crouch down and slap their thighs with the wind blowing their dresses around during Rochelle's lines (0:46). Fierce.

Other than that, it's such a good video. It meshes with the track so well. I love the whole theme, I think it's one of my favourites from them. The video may not be doing much, but I love its simplicity and clarity, the girls' styling, the lighting and effects along with the camerawork. It feels and looks so clean and crisp. I love the whole use of the water too and the dancers. It's brilliantly executed and finished, the almost dark and mysterious nature of it, and the atmosphere it gives off start to finish is perfect. It fuels the energy behind the song even more for me. And it's incredible played loud. Especially in the clubs, it always goes down a treat. Last time it was on the dancefloor erupted and was jammed when I went out.

I'm surprised you haven't noticed Vanessa's dodgy legs at the start already if you've been able to pick out Frankie's strap!

You're right, the video is a beautiful piece of work.

It's just occurred to me I've never actually watched the 'If This Is Love' video. It's never on music channels ever and i've only ever seen it in montage stuff on YouTube. Whenever I think about it all I picture is the image of the girls in sync walking with the bright dresses.

It was on the music channels alot when they debuted, more so than radio id say. It was where I first saw/heard of them. I can vividly remember it. it stuck out for me cos of the Yazoo sample.

Oooh yes.. he was rather nice.

Their catwalk-esque bit in the If This Is Love video is almost exactly identical to their catwalk in the Notorious video. Referencing themselves! Such Queens.
