Apparently it was due to frequent references he made about ‘production’ from what I read. Not sure how true that is.

I just feel like Claudia is genuinely invested in the show and its contestants. I feel Alan is good, but always feels more aloof with the contestants and some of his speaking to camera feels unnatural. I don’t know. It’s hard to put into words, but Claudia is definitely the best host of the iterations I watch.

Just binged New Zealand season 2 in 2 days and oh my days what a season I need a lie down after that finale

I was wishing for a Bailey win so hard but poor Donna's reaction at the end was hard to watch. She seemed like a nice woman. Are New Zealand traitors just really bad at the game or are their faithfuls just way better. Its so refreshing to watch a season were faithfuls dont just forget when suspicion was on someone, or just automatically assume if someone leads the charge against a traitor and gets them out that makes them 100 percent faithful. I dont want to paint all the older players with the same brush but the like of Jason who keep banging on about playing the game with honesty and integrity do annoy me, like do you know what show you signed up for people are gonna lie throughout the whole game. Id put Joe in the same box too didnt nothing for more then half the game even voted for himself then suddenly woke up in the end and started all the same stuff. My traitor hunter queen Brittany gone too soon. Think it was episode 8 or 9 when they recruited Ben his reaction to seeing the traitors was just brilliant, poor guy had no clue. It was interesting for players like Utah even to start piecing things together and getting traitors out when a similar player in any other version would have just been the muscle straight guy that sailed to the final.

Me after last Wednesday’s episode - they are sowing clever seeds that Minah will screw over Dan at the final firepit…

Minah in Friday’s episode - “I can’t be bothered waiting that long, he can go NOW”

Excited for Linda and Fozia to hopefully continue their feud this evening (sorry Leon, you seem nice but I’m praying that you leave in this nonsensical final round of “the game”)… or, even better, that Leon loses and Fozia is recruited (she will deffo still come for Linda and vice versa even if this happens!)

I agree that Claudia is the best host across the franchise but I'm sure she doesn't give much of a sh*t about the contestants. She deserves some credit for the show being so good, but i'm sure she is in no way personally invested.

Actually the opposite! She's very good at poker face when she's presenting, but she's been interviewed multiple times about how she's obsessed with the show and about how much she cares about the contestants. All the post-show catchups on radio etc she's always thrilled to see them again and knows the ins and outs of how it all went down. She's basically a Traitors stan with a dream job.

I think Fozia potentially has more to bring to the table, but that might fizzle out quickly if Linda goes tonight. I do like both Fozia and Leon, though, so happy with either of them returning.
