  1. According to Music Week, Channel 4 is bringing back the music show The Tube but as a radio show.

    The show originally appeared on Channel 4 in the 1980s but will come back as part of Channel 4's "virtual radio" service and will go out live as well as being made available to download.
  2. The Tube was groudbreaking TV in its day- rough, edgy and willing to take chances. This will basically be a new show using the same name. It would be like starting "Eldorado" as a radio soap but setting it in Bangalore with a completely different set of characters.

    It seems utterly pointless like most of Channel 4's output these days.
