I certainly enjoyed some songs more than I remembered. toi et moi is actually vaguely listenable once you get past the horrific first minute or so. And there were a few songs I love that I always listen to remixes of (Body Feels EXIT, I WILL, Wishing On The Same Star) so it was nice to revisit the originals.

That's probably because you are used to the Love Enhanced version of the songs. I Have Never Seen (new arrangement) is better than the original version

The Love Enhanced version is amazing, and for a while I loved them both the same, but I think the original is the best for me! (Still hoping for a 20th Anniversary collection similar to Love Enhanced)

Just rated up to What A Feeling - vids are working for me better tonight!

What a great performance. Namie is confidently working the stage. A lot of the best songs of the Concentration 20 era weren't singles. Whisper, Storm, To-day, Close Your Eyes, etc. Truly a fantastic album. Ahead of its time in many ways.

The SWEET 19 BLUES singles are all fabulous.

You're my sunshine is my favorite at the moment. Namiesus Christ brought down the heavenly C+C Music Factory mix with classic J-Pop flare. And so perfectly complimented with the hints of guitar, and soulful vocal performance. I wish the vocal production on her newer songs was more lush like that.

Actually, her voice is one of the reasons I rated a lot of olders songs down.

You're My Sunshine is one of my favourite though. I love how it starts as a rnb song and then turns into a dance one!

Personally I liked how... raw, her voice was back then. And also all the backing vocalists and how well they blended with Namie. Very rich and layered.

I have a presentation to give on Tuesday and I promise once that's out of the way, I can do my scores.

But thank goodness I already know and love a good half of the listed singles and Namie doesn't release quadruple a-sides of shit cute and rock tracks like Koda. Everything from Put Em Up to Dr. are gonna get hiiiigh scores from me.
