To be honest, Creed's entry here will make you beg to hear "Photograph". (And trust me, I was listening exclusively to rock radio during Nickelback's peak - there is so, so much worse out there in the Land of Post-Grunge.)
True.

There are so many songs I love on here, but it's almost as interesting to realize what isn't there. I didn't realize Britney didn't have a #1 in this time period.

For a Nickelback song, it's really not that bad. They have much worse. If Animal or Rock Star was on here it'd be the easiest 0 I've ever given.

Only like seven or eight of these songs weren't already in my iTunes ... I feel embarrassed, yet proud.

edit: I am also officially campaigning for Smooth to win this thing. Give it your 11, make it real, or else forget about it.

Some of the early 2000's are bit skewed because no physical single was released. I believe this was the case with Oops I Did It Again.

I voted already. I'm kind of shocked how familiar I am with like 75% of the songs listed! I always thought 2006-2009 was my real heyday but there were some great songs in the early 2000s.

Wow, when I said "get busy" you took it to heart... thanks muchly, though! (Also, neither of us have any 0s. That's gotta be a record...)

I've never even heard Incomplete by Sisqo and had no idea that he had a song other than Thong Song.

Also I always had a completely unreasonable and baseless hatred of B2K. I don't know why. I just fuckin' hated them from day one. Memories of their implosion always made me smile and got me through many a tough time.

I'm not just talking about your sexuality, but I think I can count about 14 tens...
A lot of these songs represent my youth, especially when I first got into "Da Clubs" in very early 2002.

Good god this rate is going to make me acutely aware of what a sheltered little white evangelical kid I was in 2000-2004. I only know like, five songs on that list.
