The US #1s of the 2000s Rate (Part 2: 2005-2009 - Your #1 Is...)

  1. My mum loves it.

It's a good job Bleeding Love happened and was amazing, because if it didn't X Factor would have stuttered to a The Voice style halt much sooner, and we wouldn't get the good stuff that it would eventually churn out (mostly One Direction and Little Mix, but bits elsewhere). I mean its also helped established Teddo as a writer of merit, which is a shame, but you can't win them all.

  2. Also out of that five, I really want Just Dance to win. Dominate Colby.

Umbrella is an iconic song and people are still loving it.

Well I guess your 11 will be a surprise for all of us.

  9. Maybe, but that's not going to make me like it any better!

R.I.P. 'Disturbia' and 'SOS'. My Rihanna stanning is over.

I'd love a Rihanna or Mariah victory. I think 'Umbrella' and 'We Belong Together' have aged the best out of what's left and I consider them career highlights for those artists. I don't get the hate towards 'Umbrella' at all. It's the perfect pop song.

  11. I really wished I'd scored Umbrella a lot less now. It grates on me so much.

This is what I'd love. Guess we'll see. Hehe.

  13. Umbrella hasn't aged at all, it's just as annoying as it always has been.

  14. They've all aged, but 'Poker Face' reminds me of a time when pop was really getting to be fun again. Let it have this.

  15. 1. Just Dance
    2. Umbrella
    3. Poker Face

    4. Say It Right

    666. We Belong Together (seriously this song is so overrated it hurts me.)

  16. We Belond Together simply cannot win.

Say It Right or Poker Face are both deserving.

    Umbrella/Just Dance would be disappointing.

  17. Poker Face is so fucking overrated.

  18. I'd argue it's underrated. I was there for the Gaga rate and all of her fans couldn't hold back from dragging it at every corner. Once all the "it's aged badly" voices get loud enough, that overrated myth becomes underrated pretty fast.

  19. Poker Face is amazing, and was such an amazing moment and I don't care what anyone else says about it really. I could type out the exact same for Umbrella-ella-ella-eh-eh-eh actually.

  20. To be honest? I'd call the Fame era underrated in general, these days. Sure, it seems a bit slight compared to what came later, but there's a lot of great tunes, y'know? I suspect it would still be regarded extremely highly round these parts if she hadn't changed direction.
