I thought tickets were available from today… am I missing where?
I first saw that poster tweeted by AXS but I can't see anything.I thought tickets were available from today… am I missing where?
Yes it was Academy 2 last time. The first and only time I've seen them. I'm really hoping ten years on they do the UK dates, it's getting a bit close now however it shouldn't take much to sell 400 odd tickets for Manchester.Playing Manchester Academy 3 + Birmingham Institute 3 in May.
Sure they played Academy 2 in Manchester last time?
The way I'm just going to listen to Hook Me Up instead... now that is an album!See a lot of comments on their Instagram asking why only 7 songs or why it’s not called a EP, this is their latest response:
“Anything with 7+ tracks will be categorised as “Album” within services. It’s not up to us what it’s categorised as on platforms and services”
I'm probably in the minority but for me 'Untouched' is their weakest single. I find it a little irritating that it's the song they're most famous for in the UK.Hook Me Up is still their best album, hands down.
The title track, "All I Have", "Take Me On The Floor", "This Is How It Feels", "I Can't Stay Away" and obviously "Untouched" - we were eating back then! A shame that the recent music doesn't quite reach such heights.
This is why I will be forever sour about Life On Mars not getting released because it was like a darker sister to Hook Me Up and the electronic sound they first explored with that album. Everything that came afterwards was a mixed-bag and it's a real bummer as they have so much potential.
It feels like AXS tweeted it, then... it just never happened? Bit confused.Still no news on the other UK dates?!
