I just caught up and went to youtube the next episode promo and had the ending spoiled for me so avoiding searching anything for it until you watch the episode.

I honestly thought this show was beyond salvation at one point, but Angela Kang did that. Can we take a moment to appreciate how good she is at giving characters proper send-offs, by treating them and the fans with respect and letting us mourn them properly?

I've utterly loved the show again since she took over. Do we know if she will continue in to the next season?

Yeah that ending was genuinely maybe the most touching the show has ever been? In recent memory anyway. A shame we lost Tara and Enid, but I was bracing myself for Rosita too so let's celebrate that. I definitely feel they could've sacrificed Eugene, Ezekiel and Gabriel, who all feel like they've run their course where Tara/Enid never felt like they reached full potential, especially considering the vacuum Maggie/Jesus have left.

That said, it was well executed enough to forgive it (for now). And the finale looks lit too. C'mon snow.

Why am I low key here for Alden taking on a bigger role? I feel like there's material they can pull from him with the ex-saviour aspect and Enid. Or maybe it's just cause he has the bops.

He must be getting one, it’s strange to have killed off Enid after pairing them up.

After nearly giving up on The Walking Dead so many times I am shocked I am suddenly into it again.

Tara and Enid are a loss and them going over the likes of Gabriel have made the shock factor more for me.
Looking forward to next weeks episode!

It’s a shame Tara died when there are some characters who’ve really run their course. I wanted to see her step up as a proper leader and be given something to do.

Eugene is completely pointless, he hasn’t had anything much to do since the end of Negan’s war. Eh, keep him around for next season and he can be used as fodder rather than Rosita or Aaron (dad).
