The Walking Dead

I'm so glad they're giving Angela a proper chance and we're getting an 11th season too.

Even just the payoff of seeing Daryl and Carol interact in the way they did was more actual characterisation and personality than seen in entire seasons that have come before. And remember when the showrunner's idea of a "new" threat being a bunch of literal garbage people who stuck a walker in a helmet? Give me more snow storms and satellites tbh.

If Season 10 does end up being the final season, then I'll probably finally catch up just to see (out of curiosity) how it ended up concluding. I found Negan incredibly grating, and his appearance was when I jumped ship. Euron vibes.

It won’t be the final season as it’s been renewed already.

Rumoured cast member exit this season :
Rosita

Also excited to see which character will get

Gabriel’s gruesome death from the comics

Well that sucks as I wanted Rosita to shine, although can’t blame the actress as she’ll be starring as Serena in a new Netflix series so at least she’ll have something to do. I’d she would be kept alive but I very much doubt she’s popular enough for them to leave the door open. Can they at least get rid of Eugene and Ezekiel as well because I don’t know why they’ve kept them around.

I find Alpha and The Whisperers so intriguing. Loving this season so far, I'm excited to see what comes next as my knowledge of the comics pretty much ends at the pikes moment.

What a strange episode. There’s been a real shift in... tone? I dunno, but it feels different, maybe in a good way. Bit of a nothing episode for me, glad Alpha is getting more context as an antagonist though

I thought episode two was pretty fantastic, and Alpha is definitely the best villain they’ve ever had at this point.

The satellite plot point was such a brilliant move. The old world has failed but we’ve gotten used to it now, it was an exciting unknown. Hope they come up with new ways to repeat that kind of curveball for everyone to deal with.

Just caught up on season 10. It's so good. Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't miss Rick at all. The whisperers and Alpha make such a more interesting and actually scary villians compared to Negan. Carol remains my firm favourite and can't wait to see where this storyline with Siddiq goes. Also the music since the whisperers started as the main villians has been amazing.

100% agree - for a few seasons I’d felt the show would really benefit from Rick leaving. Was so happy when he finally did.

Loved it, but Negan literally drains any scene in which he’s a part of, doesn’t he? Michonne is such a powerhouse, I’m gutted she’s leaving.
I feel as though the Negan story just goes round and round, even when he's actually done good he still gets it in the neck, it is actually quite draining to watch! Obviously he did awful things so I'm on the fence about how he should be treated
several years later.
I'm really looking forward to seeing where this leads to with the Whisperers.

Halfway through S05 of FTWD. I have to say I like the new characters introduced in S04 and the storytelling has been good. I still find that big Madison hole in the show that I find myself not getting over. But I know she’s not coming back. The show runners bringing her back now would be admitting that they made the wrong call. Plus, we didn’t see her get eaten alive, but it did seem pretty final.
