Maybe but Doja seems like she's enjoying every single moment of her new found celebrity, as she well should if her contract was a regular one. However to me at least she's disingenuous as fuck as well or she doesn't give a damn about Luke and that whole ordeal as long as the hits keep coming.

Except she’s expressed regret over the contract she signed when she was 17 (long before the Kesha case) and recently liked tweets essentially saying she’s trapped into working with Luke. Then she tweeted this in response to fans talking about RCA working to get her out of her contract with him:



So, no, I wouldn’t say she’s enjoying it or being disingenuous; she just can’t say shit about it directly.

Well. I haven't kept tabs on her like that, all I do is browse her thread every now and then, look at her photoshoots, instagram posts and what not her fans are discussing and I see a woman basking in it all. She doesn't exactly look like someone dreading to be in her position, that's my point.

We could give her the benefit of the doubt and think that for all the hell she may be feeling for working with Luke she might as well make the most of it but I just feel it's not the case. Dunno.

EDIT: I notice now that I may have come across maybe a bit too harsh but to me the fact that Luke found a platform through Kim Petras and Doja is enraging. I will do better.

And Kesha doesn’t look like she hates it either, but look at everything going on behind closed doors, so. Seems a bit contradictory to bash someone who likely can’t legally speak on their position while seemingly caping for someone who is similarly contractually bonded to the same man.

despite my dislike of parts of his lyrics and his schtick I have properly fallen in love with this album. Apart from the quality of the songs there is something about the atmosphere of this that makes it such a perfect listen for this very strange moment we’re all living

These last few pages are messy so I'm just gonna say it again - his homophobic+racist lyrics are NOT ok. Not in 2016, 2019, or ever.

His ranking in the 2020 pop landscape or whether or not you think his shtick is tired is a whole other discussion.
