GOD Blinding Lights is PERFECT.
He's really pushing this song, isn't he.
The lyrics are very lazy and generic. The Weeknd is capable of so much better. Expect it to be a smash tho.

"Blinding Lights" is clearly the superior song out of the two singles he recently released. I agree with everyone who thought "Heartless" is a bit underwhelming and unsurprising coming from him, it's not a bad song but when I first listened to it, I definitely thought he was starting to seriously run out of ideas. "Blinding Lights" is really promising though.

Damn... that video was a trip, no pun intended. I loved it.
“Heartless” as a single is clearly meant to appease his OG fanbase. Based on the reactions to the two singles, they all prefer it over “Blinding Lights” while his pop-oriented audience is the opposite

Makes sense. Whether we like it or not, Pop is just not on trend right now, sadly (or else Katy Perry would have smashed a few months back with Never Really Over).
