...and I almost died in the discothequethequethequetheque
From the person who gave Britney’s Toy Solider a 0. I am not surprised.
This is a great album- and would be an even greater Rihanna album.
The acclaim, though. Wow https://www.metacritic.com/music/dawn-fm/the-weeknd
I found the interludes RELAXING and CALMING.
I had to drive to the city this morning and just stuck this on to see what it was like not really expecting a whole lot (I've never checked out his albums).
Well, it wasn't a drive, it was a journey. This is fantastic? I need to start checking out his other stuff.
His other stuff is great but also nothing like this album especially his earlier works. His die hard fans are super mad about this album as they like the “original” Weeknd but I personally prefer this Weeknd with a sprinkle of the older with songs like Heartless.
This album is incredible, my first Weeknd first album listen and I can't stop playing it...where do I go from here... I'm getting the same feeling I got when I listened to Rhythm Nation for the first time!
Not sure this was posted in here, but there's a Target exclusive with a great cover:
Well that was unsettling.
He must have seen Pitchfork say that pop couldn’t get more grotesque than the After Hours era.
Here We Go…Again is just SUBLIME.
“And you didn’t expect to fall for me once you got this dick…”
“I loved her right, make her scream like Neve Campbell…”
SONG OF THE YEAR.
Gasoline is god tier. The whole album already feeling like the soundtrack to 22 already.
Um. Blimey? Killing and fucking. Hello 2022.
Truly one of the best albums as of late with a fun era to boot.
Catch me streaming as I drive around Vice City
I like this a whole lot more than the last album. I want that Target deluxe edition teebs.
He would do amazing things with Chris Cunningham.
