Wendy's talk show is so popular in America. I'm amazed by how many people I know watch her regularly. She does bring a lot of entertaining moments.

I love her show and love that her YouTube channel puts up the bulk of the episodes, so people overseas can watch.

She's got a rare gift in that she can entertain without there even being a guest on the show. She can literally just talk to the camera for half an hour and it's TV gold.

Wow, that's such an achievement! I've been a fan of this show/Wendy for a while now and I'm so happy for her. I wonder what she recorded in LA, with Ellen?

People have forgotten how to interview. Her interview segments are way too short but she's very good at what she does.

I love that she doesn't hold back on Hot Topics in fear of pissing off a guest, and then when the guest is there she'll be just as forward with them. Sometimes she can be brutal, and sometimes she can be wrong, but who can't be!

Such a legend. Been following Wendy since her radio days here in NY and I couldn't be happier for her or her success. Best talk show on TV by a mile. Of course there's plenty of people who can't stand her but that's understandable given the business she's in. It makes me like her more.

And yes, she's entirely entertaining by herself (hence why the After Show is often more fun to watch than the actual show), which is saying something, considering she's also a master interviewer and could easily make a living doing that alone if she wanted. Still, I think there's very few shows on the air right now which really capture a personality like this does. Her producers also made a smart decision in extending the hot topics segment this season.

I'm actually so surprised (but happy) at how popular this show seems to be. And also how popular the After Show is, at least on here! I'm an avid viewer, her and her glam squad crack me up! How you doin'?

Gonna say something unpopular (to some), but I think her Whitney interview was great. As in, a lot of Whitney fans act like Wendy was the devil for even alluding to drugs/her troubles and all that, but Wendy was spot on with her and told no lies. Whitney came across so tacky and classless in that interview and I don't want to really speak ill of a dead woman, but it's really ridiculous how people like to still twist it... I think if more people like Wendy were around Whitney, someone to cut the shit, she would have gotten on the road to recovery a lot sooner.

Oh are you kidding me? The Whitney interview is one of the greatest pieces of recorded audio in pop culture history. Wendy would be a legend for that alone if that was the only thing she ever did. Whitney was clearly out of her mind back then.

I'm actually not surprised at all. She really crosses all demographics, even in my own group of friends. Every race, gender, sexual orientation, age group, geographic location, etc. Of course she mostly catered to a black audience during her radio days but the mainstream appeal was always there, it's just that the rest of the world is only now starting to catch on.

Oh I totally agree, I'm not trying to kid anyone. I'm saying for anyone who feels the opposite!

I think it's more so because I'm in Ireland and she's completely unknown over here, so I've never really had a proper way to gauge the reaction, especially during the earlier years. Lately though, seeing the budget steadily get bigger and hear of renewals for advanced seasons come in, I'm over the moon!

I know that Wendy is a horrible media troll but I can't help find her gossipy enthusiasm infectious when I watch the show.

The only thing object to on her show is her Hot Talk segment (where she sits on a panel with three other people). The other three people are always head-smackingly inane to watch. Where on earth does she find them? As the show gets bigger, I'm sure she'll actually have Hot Talk with a panel of real celebrities who have something interesting to say.

I love her so much but I hate her also.

I watch her pretty much everyday while eating brunch.

I watched the first few seasons out of my love for the Whitney/Wendy interview but I haven't seen much of it recently. I particularly liked her interviews with Omarosa and Latoya Jackson.

Yeah, people were way harsh on Wendy. She kept her cool, Whitney was antagonistic out of the gate, and the interview like you and 3Xs said is legendary! I was like "girl no" when she was crying over Whitney dying though. Don't pretend like you two have a kinship.

Of course she had a connection with her. Many people idolised Whitney without knowing her, Wendy idolised her because she felt they shared a connection through being addicts. I can't imagine how heartbreaking it must be, to see someone you really look up to (whether you know them or not) die from drugs, when you yourself have fought and overcome that demon.

Those emotions were so real and that's why I love Wendy, she wears her heart on her sleeve and says it like it is!

When Wendy cried about Whitney's death, it seemed so insincere to me. I mean, even besides the radio interview, Wendy took every opportunity to bash her, and hate on her on the talk show's hot topics segment. You mean to tell me that you're so upset about the death of someone you spent so much time dragging through the mud? Sorry but I didn't buy it, and I actually thought Wendy's crocodile tears and bad acting were a disgusting low point for her.

Haha I remember that, she got the tissue out but where were the teardrops?
