It's funny. I remember being completely underwhelmed by the second season trailer and then finding the season to somehow be even better than the first. I wasn't underwhelmed by that trailer at all (on the contrary, it looks great), but I just don't think trailers can capture the lightning in a bottle magic this show manages to produce. I love Thai culture and anything set in Thailand, so I am so anxious and excited for this season.

Yeah, from the preview of the upcoming weeks it definitely seems like he’s playing a big role.

I hadn’t read much about the season and wasn’t expecting him to return so the reveal was gaggy.

The 'changing cast with the occasional returning character' concept works so well (and probably wouldn't work with any setting but this). Everything looks so pretty again.
Not quite sure if Parker's character is putting up a front or this is just how she acts.

To expand on this thought:

One of my favorite things about The White Lotus is, with very few exceptions, you don't actually root for anyone. No one is particularly likable, morally sound, or deserving of any good fortune their way, which makes for an exciting watch. I never go into any particular scene or situation hoping for anything or wanting a certain character to come out on top - it's usually just this weird pit in my stomach and the impending dread that's about to happen and I'm sat regardless. It makes for a really fun watch. Loved this premiere.
