The reveal of the h*****b was very well done as well I would add. The way they slowly escalated the reveals of what had transpired was gaggy.

Fun episode but I cheered a bit too hard after the first daydream. The girls being petty is just like me used to be jealous when my friends hook up and I don’t - while I wingmen them and they don’t even thank me after. Ah, how times have changed.
There were so many hints to things happening and foreshadowing, so it’s a lot that could be red herrings or actually true. We’ll see!

Brilliant episode. I'm obsessed with the way this show is put together. I love everything. Even the scenes where fuck all is happening until they start to bring that banging theme tune into the mix and I'm looking at beautiful scenes of waves crashing. I'm in. It has me. The editing is so good.
Fully expecting Tim to stay in the monastery, and those gunshots are for sure Gaitok raining holy hell on someone right? They didn't show us that he's an expert marksman for nothing. Also, yeah, surely someone is getting a poison fruit smoothie. Would Saxon kill his own brother? I get the impression that little bro is going to push things too far, feeling like he has a bit of power over Saxon.
Carrie Coon being a petty cow was masterful. Her, Aimee, Parker and Charlotte are the MVPs of this season.

Somehow Kate is slowly becoming my favourite blonde and I don’t know why? I loved her punching Laurie on the arm.

I love this season but somehow this was the first episode where I said to myself that they are really stretching things and that they could have probably cut one episode from the whole season and it wouldn't have hurt the storylines that much.
Do you want her beating a bongo in the middle of Times Square?? was the best quote of the episode for me.
I think the season is incredibly contingent on the next two episodes (not unlike Season 2 for me). There's been so much beauty in the scenery and directing, but I think this episode veered too far into obvious scripting vs. the natural cadence that the best episodes of the show lean into. That said, the scene with Tim meeting with the monk was perfect. The dissonance of this upper class man pilled out and as a result being receptive to the existentialism was the kind of poetic irony that works so well. The scene was mesmerizing in imagery only to slather the lens with that gauzy effect of drugs as Tim was comprehending what he was being told about death. I found it a lot more effective than the fake out death scenes, particularly the second one.

I am once again asking why Ouinona Ryder (instantly iconic @sesita) wasn't given main cast billing when, aside from the fact that she's one of the best and most crucial characters this season, she's had just as much screentime as everyone else? They need to pay our Canadian sister properly and expeditiously for her work!
Also I need to know why anyone thought it was a good idea to remove Walter Goggins from the hotel and the rest of the cast. The worst storyline gets worser. The Timothy fakeouts were eyeroll-worthy and just very abnormal for this show too which I did not like, but at least we went somewhere with that storyline this time.
And lastly my vote for best blonde goes to Leslie Bibb. Her saying bye to Valentin with that smile and then her eyes immediately going wide as she sipped her coffee had me in stitches.
