Me not knowing any of these Walter Goggins roles

When I tell you it is all about her this season

...though I loved the monk's explanation about the water droplet returning to the collective sea

I think Miss Chelsea is either going to get a happy ending with her man OR she’s going to get shot. No inbetween.

Reasons being I feel like Ricks arc is about learning the Buddhist principle of letting go of the past and living in the present. My current prediction is he’ll learn everything he thought was true about his father isn’t meaning that by obsessively clinging to the past (which turned out to be false) all his life he is effectively responsible for his own misery.

Either this will lead to Rick finally being able to let go of the past and live happily in the present with Chelsea OR to really drive the point home Chelsea will get shot at the hotel as a consequence of him abandoning her to go to Bangkok.

Why do I feel like the older son is going to go full toxic masculinity over feeling emasculated/being homophobic and be the shooter.
Chelsea talking about how bad things happen in threes and then calling Saxon soulless in the last episode... oh no

I’m not sure Saxon is going to go postal and shoot everyone. I think more likely there is another robbery of the hotel and there is a shoot out between the robbers (Valentin’s friends?) and the security guard and Chelsea will just get caught in the cross fire.

I think the Ratliffs will be forced to stay in Thailand to avoid being poor / arrested back in the US with Timothy & Saxon working as Greg’s new financial advisors helping him to move his inheritance around to places it can’t be found in case he’s caught by the police.

Have to say I'm enjoying this series a lot! Seen a few comments saying it's not as good as 1 or 2, but it feels on par with them for me for now. Impossible to say conclusively until we see how it wraps up but I have high hopes! Hard to choose an MVP but honestly it could be any of the ladies. All divas. Or the younger brother dare I say!

Feel bad for Natasha Rothwell though, her storyline is far and away the least interesting. Getting such a big name for Lisa's role feels strange to me too, she barely has anything to do and has had like 15 lines in total across the entire series? Someone earlier in the thread pointed out it's sadly the non-white characters that Mike White struggles with.

Also for the record I agree S2 is better than S1. Both brilliant and it's like comparing Lemonade and Renaissance, but S2 was just ... unbelievable television. Like one of the best series of anything ever.

This may be true but Natasha Rothwell has been on interview saying she went through both all the scripts of season 1 and this season with Mike as a writer to make sure that her voice as a Black woman sounded authentic and accurate and the scenes between Mook and Gaston sound like every lakorn

I will say I do want some sort of climax and denouement to Greg's character as it's already been 3 years and I'd rather be done with him so we can have room for another anchor character (if they want to do that), even though I appreciate how he's been sued to set up a multi season storyline.

Every guest death up to this point has been accidental. Do we really think Mike is going to go full shoot out/collateral death?

I feel like it’s more White Lotus if a monkey steals a gun and people scatter and someone dies from a falling lizard or Buddha statue or something.

Or Saxon can’t cope and decides to bite it and makes himself a poison fruit shake and someone accidentally drinks it when he chickens out.
