The Winner's Gonna Take It All: The final...

Also can't decide if lyrically Hey Hey Helen is pro or anti her choice?

Parts of it are like "are you happy now, homewrecking bitch?" and then it's like "you were right, you had to take a second chance..."

I have a feeling that you include Take A Chance On Me in this as you never highlight it. If so, I'm..troubled!

Chance is clearly one of the better songs on The Album, but I have to admit that it still only managed a middling score from me.

I'm eager to see what's in the Top 10, but be warned that if Summer Night City and Under Attack don't make, it I will come to your room at night and cut your fucking wigs up.

I think now is an excellent time for Two For The Price Of One to make it's exit. I've come to ironically love it and I do bop to it now but it going further would seem wrong. It's the only song on The Visitors that I didn't give a 10.

@Remorque: it could have been worse - I've lost only one of my 10s so far...

But I think from here on it's going to be bad for everyone. Only a few of the weaker songs are left ...

I adore Hey Hey Helen and Why Did It Have to Be Me, but almost every song remaining is fabulous. Are Marionette and I Wonder out yet?? If not then I may be pressed about the former two leaving this soon.

Super Trouper has only lost Put On Your White Sombrero so far, but seeing as nobody misses that one, we'll count Andante, Andante as its first real loss at #66. Recorded in 1980 and released that same year as the fourth song on its parent album, it was also recorded in Spanish. That version was released as a single in South Africa and South America, where it was also released as the b-side to Felicidad, the Spanish version of Happy New Year. Kweens of recycling. The only European country to receive the English version on any single release was Portugal, where it was the b-side to the aforementioned Christmas song...

It's never really been a favourite of mine, though it has grown on me during the years, Frida gives us a delicate and technically perfect performance and Agnetha definitely steps up in the harmony department. Who knew our queen had it in her to release such a low-key plea for her lover to be slow, but firm during foreplay, eh?

SecretsOfFatima got it too, stating "Subtlety to the max here.". Mm-hm.

I know Uno will be fucking devastated. So will tylerc904 after saying it's a favourite of his "but I don’t believe many others adore it as much as I do. It’s just so lovely, and the harmonizing is in prime force here.". Filippa, meanwhile, states the obvious with "What a beautiful song!". 't Is, gurl.
I'm sorry for your loss, sistren.

WhatKindOfKylie? is our lowest scorer again (suprise!), thinking it's "Just a bit soppy and inspid for my personal tastes. Plus, a bit of a let down after 3 fantastic songs in a row.". He wasn't alone in thinking this, as kalonite says it "Suffers a bit by following three great tracks which open the album. Just a bit bland. Also weird that it slips into the Father Ted theme song halfway through.". For your consideration:

ufint hears "a slight Fernando-feel mixed with I Got You Babe. It's good, but nothing spectacular.".
I'll give you two the benefit of the doubt with those, but Mina goes a bit tew far in hearing "Shades of My Heart Will Go On (i.e. The Titanic Song), and not in a good way.".
If ever there was a time to post it...

Like me, P'nutbutter's "grown to love this more over the last few years." and Mikey1701 thinks "This is such a lovely Italianesque album track. It’s solid without ever being spectacular. Queen Frida brings those warm vocals and the lyrics are amongst the most sensual ever written by Benny and Bjorn. The last forty seconds or so are wonderful with Frida softly seeing the song out with that long note.". That note demonstrates just how good of a singer the woman really is and he wasn't the only one to notice it...
Hudweiser calls it "Delicate and regal; amazing big note from Queen Frida at the end, but I have to be in the mood to commit five minutes of my time to it." and poor ol' Sprockrooster admits to "Loving the instrumentation", but then loses me with "but not so much the vocals aside from that final note.". Those vocals are among her best, presh...

constantino just gets it. "C’mon harmonies! This is so lovely and soft, I just wanna wrap myself with it as if it was a warm blanket…". Yes, gurl. Lemme join you.

VivaForever finds it "boring" and bichard calls this "Adult contemporary hell. Poor Frida. She did tend to get the lead on the lesser songs in the later years (well actually, the trend probably started with One Man, One Woman). Easily the worst thing on the album, it is the first of a trio of MOR tracks that totally drag the album for me, although both Happy New Year and Our Last Summer are superior.". You're right about the last two being better, but you're going to hell for shading the greatness that is One Man, One Woman.

For CasperFan it was "A bit of a plodder – nothing offensive but just ok.". Okay.

Lastly, TrueBeliever admits that "For the longest time, I assumed this was a Spanish version of one of their double-speak titles (i.e. Honey, Honey, Ring Ring, etc.), so I never played it on YouTube when looking for ABBA songs in the 90s-00s. Once I realized it was a song onto itself, and had nothing to do with Spanish, I felt a gigantic fool. It’s a nice, pleasant song, but nothing more.". Kweens of confusing. And I actually agree on the last part...

And as previously mentioned, the Spanish version...

Swedish dansband Thorleifs recorded an instrumental version for their 1992 album Med dej vill jag leva.

Hey Hey Helen did feel a lot like a left over from the first two albums, so I'm surprised it held on so long, I do like it a lot though. As for Adante, it's lucky it got a 6 from me teebs.

An ode to the female orgasm* was never going to cut it with you lot, so I'm not shocked to see this one leave.

Take it easy with me, please
Touch me gently like a summer evening breeze
Take your time, make it slow
Andante, Andante
Just let the feeling grow
Make your fingers soft and light
Let your body be the velvet of the night
Touch my soul, you know how
Andante, Andante
Go slowly with me now

Well when you put it that way... @Remorque please upgrade my score from 6 to 10 for reasons.
