The Winner's Gonna Take It All: The final...

I know. I had a big list a few pages back and everyone was up in arms about it. hehe

To that list, I again say:

Ah good. Tiger has been culled. Although there's at least 2 more songs that got lower scores from me...

Arrival is 4th/5th in line for me. The Visitors and Voulez-Vous are obviously top 2, with Pooper Scooper coming in third. Arrival and ABBA battle it out for fourth place, with the latter usually just about winning.

Pooper Scooper is genius!

Not quite.

For me, Super Trouper and Arrival are the tops. Two sides of the same coin, the pinnacle of "both" sounds they excelled at. The Visitors loses some of their signature sparkle (though it is brilliant), and Voulez-Vous has the most offensive clunker with Dream. That said, all four are incredible, and firmly in my Top 50 albums of all time.

There's only one choice for me:

The Visitors - have been loving it since I got it from "Christkindl" (our version of Santa Claus) as a kid ...

Later I realised hmm Super Trouper and Voulez-Vous are very good as well. And then the rest followed ...

So Eagle and I'm a Marionette are obvs.

How are the other songs represented? The cut-out in Aggie is maybe Hole in Your Soul... Bjorn and Aggie apart possibly One Man One Woman?

Don't think they are. My interpretation is it's more about the movie than the songs on the album. The inclusion of I'm a Marionette and Eagle makes a modicum of sense since they're two of the most memorable performances in the movie. Then you have Ashley running, microphone in hand; the plane and taxi he takes chasing ABBA; and the Outback scene, complete with kangaroo, seen at the beginning of the movie.
