Their Top 60 is pretty much flawless. When will your favs?
I gave 1/3 of their entire discography a 10 and still felt I was being too stingy.
I feel bad for my spate of zeroes at the moment but I only gave about 5 or 6 in total to over 100 songs. I hold ABBA to such a high standard that when they are bad (as they only were on Ring Ring and occasionally Waterloo) it hurts. Luckily we are nearly over the worst of it now.Your taste is never anything other than stellar.
Aww King Kong Song is a bonkers bop. I feel like we're almost at the point where I like everything that will be eliminated. The last two stinkers for me won't be out for a while (I Have a Dream and I Wonder) so let me hope for these instead:
Gonna Sing You My Love Song
Sitting In A Palmtree
Intermezzo
Tropical Loveland
I've Been Waiting For You is nearly my favourite discovery of the whole rate, it's so lovely.Gonna Sing You My Lovesong is lovely, even if it is an inferior I've BEEN Waiting For You (which almost got my 11).

As I said earlier it's been an absolute pleasure and a musical education for me having never investigated beyond Gold and More Gold before.A lot of their songs remind me of simpler times, because my mother (who hated the dreary ballads), my aunt (who hated the gloomy years) and my grandmother (who loved their earlier schlager songs) played a lot of them in their respective houdes.
I was born at the end of August 1983, just when the wheels of the band had totally fallen apart.
That's why I am so proud to be given the chance to run this rate from our first loss at the beginning of this week to the winner in a couple of weeks and all the suspense that had been built up during the weeks prior to it starting.
A big fat fucking THANK YOU to everyone who took part in this and sent me novels of commentary.
Next one falling tonight!

I now bitterly regret all the wasted years spent not listening to The Visitors.

I want that heart shaped dress.
I want that heart shaped dress.
¿Porque no los dos?It either was the beginning of my love of pop music or the beginning of me being a big 'mo. wejustdontknow.gif
I heard there's a modern reproduction of that:
