The X Factor 13 (UK 2016)

I would love the return of the peak panel, Simon, Cheryl, Dannii and Louis return along with Dermot hosting might be enough to draw back some old fans, though Simon still needs to change some things, mainly the obvious manipulation, just make the show more honest.

Yes to the peak panel but no to Dermot. He was so robotic and set in his ways. He almost never deviated from his boring little script for the entire time he was there.

Sorry but I loved Dermot. A host shouldn't be the talk of an episode in a show like this.
Looking at you Olly.

Dannii, as much as I like her, wouldn't do anything for ratings or interest in the programme. It's a waste of a judging space.

I don't know, I always found her a little boring and quite cringey at times but she was appeared to be extremely popular by the end of her run.

No Caroline, but Olly is still in talks? That's messy.

Is Olly still signed to Cowell's label? If he is, I wonder if he'll get a more positive exit announcement rather than the negative headline "he's been axed!!".

I do agree with others; speculation over new judges always starts early and this year it's the same. Personally, I think Cowell should perhaps look back at his own performance as a judge and mentor last year, and question whether he could do better...?

Louis Tomlinson is so unlikeable, I don't know if I will be able to bare watching it with him as a judge.

I predicted Caroline would be let go and we would see Olly doing it on his own this year. A Mario Lopez/Khloe Kardashian tea. Caroline was alright but the way she laughs at everything, even things that aren't funny, is pretty annoying.

Basically, this show is beyond saving. I'm not saying end it necessarily. Keep it going if you wish, but they should stop trying to do anything that will bring the show back to what it was in 2010. If Cheryl's return couldn't do that, nothing will.

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS! The format is a sinking ship at this point and only a massive rejuvenation will save it.

They're too complacent/lazy/scared/incompetent/unimaginative to do that, so I'd at least like it to die with some sense of entertainment value and 'watchability'.
