DISCLAIMER: I do have to point out here, that my love of Ruth is in part, if not entirely, down to the fact that I am a homosexual male. She is as camp as tits. I do see why that might not have as strong appeal to the general public as it does the Popjustice community. I wasn't particularly suprised she was in the bottom two.

The thing I dislike most about Dermot hosting the show is The Dermot Twirl at the start of every program.

Can't BELIEVE Laura went last night, bottom two should have been Daniel (it's like when Chico was in the show and is beyond a total joke now) and Eoghan.

Rachel's performance was dreadful also. Totally tuneless.

Mariah was fucking SHOCKING. Seriously, was she drugged up or something? She came across utterly boring and her 'performances' were appaling.

Oh, and Ruth should be in the bottom two every week and then be put through again. She is AMAZZZZIIIIIINGGGG when she is in the sing offs.

I don't hate Dermot but he's just a bit rubbish, Kate was too but her total lack of patience with the audience was always fun.

She wasn't a great presenter but what I liked about Kate is she wasn't some constant grinning sychophant, if someone pissed her off or said something she didn't like she wouldn't always hide it. Of course this was better suited during her Pop Idol days. Her best moments being when some contestant was whinging about the bad press attention she was getting over flirting with Rik Waller (I know!) and Kate really laid into her big style telling her it was her own fault because she was the one who went to the press about it in the first place and also her total destruction of Victoria Newton. Everything Victoria said, Kate would come back with a 'no no you're quite wrong' and it was really quite brilliant seeing the devil woman be made to look a fool.

Yes! I don't know what's worse. Kate's inability to control the audience leading her to shout like a teacher, or Dermot's constant use of the word "people". If they formed a double act, they could sail through to the x factor finals next year as they are as annoying and talentless as Daniel. They need to have a good sob story though. Maybe Dermot could reveal that he got molested by Vanessa Feltz on an episode of BBLB?

Ruth is the only contestant that holds any interest with me. She won't win though which is a shame. She is alluring.

the over selling of tragedy stories year on year is getting worse and needs to be stopped. Daniel just has to go. its shameful. Dont get me started on the release of 'hero' at this time of year either.

Clearly she won't win. She'll be out either next week or the week after (she'll only survive against Daniel and possibly Rachel) but I hope she still gets a record deal as I'd love to see her make a success of herself.

Forget Best of British week, November 22nd is Take That week! What do you think they should all sing (assuming they don't go next week). I think the perfect song for Ruth is 'Relight my fire' and Alex could do 'A million love songs' as Leona did that well. Eoghan will surely do 'Babe' as it's just him down to a tee. JLS will probably do 'Shine' and I can hear Diana doing 'Patience' in my head. "Just tra-ah-ah-ah-ah and have a little... patience". Then Daniel and Rachel. I assume one of them will go next week. If Daniel stays, I'm expecting 'Rule the world' and Rachel... fuck knows. 'Clementine' probably.
