So I was nearly right with Steve Brookstein being first out, had it not been for "Jonjo Kerr" being so forgettable he never crossed my mind.

Excellent start!

Quite surprised at Jonjo being out first, but then again when I first saw his name pop up here I did have to think for a second who he was (and I watched the videos and sent me scores in at the weekend!).

I'm surprised two people gave Frankie a high score, are we being trolled?

Also, what does 'Rate Placement' mean?

Leave Rhythmix out of this!
All second-tier groups have name changes, but not all name changes happen to second-tier groups.

Morning! The first act packing their bags today is ...

#120. Nu Vibe (1.519)

Worst group ever to make the lives? Nu Vibe were good at Judges' Houses but dreadful at the sharp end of the competition and apart from their obvious performance issues, just seemed really bland and dated. I lowkey lived for Ashford killing two boy bands though.

Highest score: 5 (@Queen Conchita, @roborovsky)
Lowest score: 0 (@AmbivalentToBritney, @K94, @Serg., @GhettoPrincess, @pmas, @FrankOnline88)

Series placement: 13th
Rate placement: 15th

@K94 - This just didn’t work.

@diamondliam - Abysmal, one of the worst boy bands in the history of the show.

@Filler - You really have to be going some to have performed the worst version of "With or Without You" in X Factor history.

@shadow2009 scored Nu Vibe a 2 and 'was going to give them a 1 but had a few fit members'.

@kermit_the_frog - A bit rubbish apart from the first week (when everyone was good?)

@pmas - Yuk, yuk, yuk. Hideous, should have been chucked in week 1. Actually, should have been chucked at judges' houses, I'm still mad at Tulisa for sending The Estrelles home.

@sfmartin looks on the bright side again and awards Nu Vibe 'points for bringing a bit of energy to the stage. Tulisa tried her best with this lot but the charisma was non-existent'. Yeah they weren't Tulisa's finest hour were they?

Didn't one of Nu Vibe replace a member of The Risk about 3 days after they were eliminated, only for The Risk to also be eliminated about 5 days after that?

I didn't like the next act out, but I didn't know they were *quite* so hated on here...

#119. Stevi Ritchie (1.605)

Stevi's inclusion was a pretty cynical ratings-grab, and he knew it, but I didn't hate him. He was just ... there. Other contestants in that season were much worse than he was and weren't even presented as novelty acts. How he got together with Chloe-Jasmine, one of the most gorgeous girls in the history of the show, is a mystery for the ages though.

Highest score: 8 (@Queen Conchita) girl please
Lowest score: 0 (@kermit_the_frog, @K94, @idratherjack, @2014, @pmas, @FrankOnline88, @Shockbox)

Series placement: 6th
Rate placement: 16th

@K94 - He just grosses me out.

@diamondliam - A slightly less attractive version of Matt Terry.

(I'd say Stevi's a slightly less attractive version of Jonjo Kerr, but each to their own).

@SuperNerd - One of the more tedious novelty acts.

@kermit_the_frog - I always forget he was in this show. Repulsive.

@pmas - Nope.

@sfmartin - Never got his appeal. Joke act carried by the competition far too long.

@Filler - I'm a sucker for a novelty act, but they were pushing it here. "I'm Still Standing", "She Bangs", "Livin' la Vida Loca" – it was basically a worst-of compilation of novelty acts, trotting out the same songs already done by other novelty acts, which quite literally defeats the point of a "novelty" act. How is this show so bereft of imagination that it actually has well-worn novelty act standards? "She Bangs" is basically the novelty act version of "Somebody to Love". AND he did "Somebody to Love" too! It's come to something when a comedy karaoke man doing "Never Gonna Give You Up" seems like a brave departure for the show.
