The X Factor UK 2014

Re: The X Factor 2014

I think it should be kept 2 men and 2 women. They need to have that balance. 3 women certainly didn't work for the USA X Factor, and I don't thing the format is strong enough to pull of 3 men 1 woman (a la The Voice). The female judges get the tabloid inches and the online news papers talking, like the fashion wars and their trials and tribulations throughout the series. Where as, who gives a hoot about Louis' behind-the-scenes life?

The X Factor needs Cheryl and Cheryl needs The X Factor. Maybe going back to 3 judges, Cheryl Simon Louis will be better. Keep it simple! But then of course, the girls and boys categories will have to be merged again, which will be out of the question as they develop the most controversy/interest usually.

Re: The X Factor 2014

You could do Groups, Males and Females - with no upper age on the categories.

It effectively eliminates the Overs category. Maybe 1 or in 4 of the Male and Female categories would feature 1 person who would have been an 'over' in a previous series.

Re: The X Factor 2014

Hopefully the Cheryl comeback doesn't happen. Honestly as a mentor and judge she was pretty horrid at the gig, blech.

Re: The X Factor 2014

How bizarre. It's like how they got all the old contestants back for Dancing On Ice this year - half of them had ceased to be relevant since their time on the show, so suddenly you're watching someone who used to be on Coronation Street five years ago dancing to Wham! and are expected to care.

Re: The X Factor 2014

Sad that we're going to get fucking Rotten Orange instead of Dannii on this panel. Dannii or Mel B, god above please.

Re: The X Factor 2014

What a sell out. All that coy "never go back" stuff she was projecting and then she's won over by some £££££

wonder what life crisis will happen over the summer to ensure her names in the paper when her album drops.....

Re: The X Factor 2014

Malaria, a very public divorce and a very public dismissal is the most interesting year that a British popstar has ever had, and don't you deny it.

I do, however, look forward to the traumas galore.

Re: The X Factor 2014

I bet she's spotted with Ashley by the end of the week, and he's then seem getting gnoshed off by some hairdresser by May and it all comes to a head around her live performance.

What good is a prime tv slot without some sympathy press ($al£$$$$)

What life crisis options are left?
