...boring duets. Just a few years ago we were getting Beyoncé and Rihanna and now we have Rod Stewart and Craig David.

Even fewer years ago, we were getting Labrinth, Shane Filan, and Ella Henderson, not to mention that ill-advised period where they effectively killed the whole big name duet thing by trying to make mentor duets a standard part of the format. Rod Stewart, Craig David, and the admittedly boring and unimaginative choice of Rita Ora (which at least could not be more appropriate for Louisa) were as good as we've had in ages.

Does anyone remember the year they got Beyoncé, the other duet partners were Westlife and Boyzone?

What the hell have I just watched? This show has morphed into Peter Kay's "Britain's got the pop factor...". I've never been to Butlins before and I don't appreciate X Factor bringing Butlins to me.

Cliche after cliche tonight. "I've being waiting for this my whole life" says Louisa. You're 17, ffs.

Not to mention Clichechesterman's dad and his baseball caps. Lose them, we know you're bald.

I'm not entirely sure what went on tonight. It was all such a mess. The only lasting impression I'm left with is that Louisa is apparently an actual angel.

I did enjoy Olly sucking lemons when Rita implied the only worthwhile contestants on the show ever have been Louisa and Leona Lewis.

And how thin is Cheryl getting? I've never seen loose skin on someone's face before!

I thought Craig David was going to perform. Either he didn't turn up or I drifted.

What the fuck is that in Leona's hair? I can't believe it's not butter... with a bit of glitter.

But nice to see Ben Haenow won the Leona Lewis meet & greet.

Who knew Spice Up Your Life and Boom Boom Boom would segue with such finesse?

If Craig David can get booked for this, there is hope yet for Kavana to make a successful comeback.

"Vote for Che" was fucked up twice. First with a wardrobe malfunction and then they show a clip of Rod Stewart singing and Che just standing beside him. "Vote for Louisa or Rod, anyone but Che". Does this mean Che's dad has to find space outside his house for Che's bus?

It's just lucky for Reggie & Bollie that the series is ending. There are only so many obvious songs to choose from. They only had Outkast's "Hey Ya!" left to draw on.

If nothing else come out of this series, at least Nick Grimshaw now has a friend.

The only real winner is Louis Walsh. Smart move staying away from this Titanic series.

Exactly how I feel. Popjustice used to have standard about these things but it's dropped massively in recent years. It's really annoying to see these terms so overused here. It's the only place I see them. I'm convinced it's a fad which will die down.

We can only hope! Used sparingly I find it quite amusing and even like it. Used all the time and I honestly don't know what I'm reading! I thought these phrases would be added to PJ's banned list like other internet slang.

That aside, there is an annoying increased use of text/netspeak on these forums which is something popjustice was always against and which made me enjoy these boards 10/11 years ago when I first started coming here. If "sIay" can be banned then "teas", "kii" and "I_CANNOT_USE_REAL_WORDS_PROPERLY_" can. They're lazy ways of expressing opinions and emotions.
