Emma having about three lines but one of them was shade about Val Cooper’s dress was iconic.

This episode was crazy and amazing. I was not prepared. The amount of times I gasped. Wow.

The sentinels seemed to not target her while not missing any mutant around her. That would be a nice twist!

A live action can’t come close to this level of perfection. This show needs to continue forever, ddd.

The emotions they were able to convey and the immaculate action!

And importantly, just like the best of the comics, the drama here worked well because of all that has come before. Even in a single episode, we’re invested in what this nation means and, vitally, what it means to the characters we know and love. So well done.

Val just seemed a teensy bit too invested that Rogue was joining Magneto but maybe it’s a deliberate mislead.

Was interesting that we didn’t see her as Mystique in the flashback either? Just as a generic blonde woman.

It was her mother, the same woman (and design, nicely) we saw in Days Of Future Part II. Of course, this was also Mystique but Rogue didn't know this until that same episode when Raven revealed she had been her mum.
