This Morning

They could possibly bring Richard & Judy back for another guest stint to try and cleanse the brand a bit and remind people of the show's legacy. But perhaps it would be better to take it off over the summer and relaunch in the Autumn.
It’s a 3 hour show on 5 times a week, that’s a large slot to fill with reruns, as someone who works in the TV industry, there is currently a crisis, lots of freelancers are currently out of work because new program commissions are currently really low, by taking the show off the air that’s more people in the industry out of work. And it’s too late notice to create a whole new show.
I’m not sure what the best option for ITV to do is but, Richard and Judy would probably bring a lot of viewers back, but Richard is currently on Good Morning Britain too.
I can see them keeping the show on the air, riding out the storm and hoping for the best.

The way that even this thread on this forum is not immune from conflating being gay with being a groomer.

(Not a dig at you specifically. It’s just such dodgy ground and so easy to get caught up in without proper context.)
I don't think anyone is calling Dr Ranj a groomer? on this forum specifically to your point, I do agree that others taking this extreme view on other sites

I just find it creepy and unprofessional. An older, more senior employee calling a younger, junior employee a "stud"? Even if it is a "joke" or in reference to some magazine, it's still weird as hell and totally inappropriate. If it was an older man calling a younger woman something similar in a workplace environment, I truly think people would be just as creeped out, probably more so. We need to stop this toxic workplace culture.

I think this is a reach with regards to this specific situation, given the context. Dr Ranj clearly went above and beyond to call out the toxic environment behind the scenes and got eased out in return.

I mean, fair enough if you think it’s creepy, but I think it cheapens actual instances of creepy, predatory and sexually aggressive behaviour in workplaces to overreact to a fairly innocuous tweet.

Oh, they absolutely are. There's plenty of tweets. I'm disgusted by those purposely sharing the photo without any context.

Fair play, that tweet has managed to completely ignore Dr Ranj’s statement on the situation AND blame the wrong channel. Bravo everyone.

This is the problem. Some people think this behaviour is fine, others think it’s not

I said in my post I know people on other sites are, I was specifically replying to the claim that people in this thread were saying it

I think what ITV needs in the morning is just three hours of “weather reporting” aka Alison pushing hunky dudes into the river.
I would be a grateful man if anyone knew the identity of the guy who went for an inadvertent swim a few years back. Alison said his name was Chris…

There clearly is only one replacement worthy.

Imagine the daily handovers to Loose Women.

LW owe her the groveliest of apologies and ought to invite her on as a special guest panelist for an entire episode and just let her have her say the entire time. And I'd even watch it. A shame that she's accepting spots on GB news, but I guess the offers aren't flying in otherwise (unless she has their kind of views, which I hope isn't the case).
