Very fun new interview with Pitchfork.
The way this woman has been on her grind since freeing herself of RCA's shackles is just...whew. It's no hyperbole to say she is hands down one of the hardest working girls in the business and as an OG stan it makes me so proud. Like, I remember how hopeless things felt in that weird pre and post Joyride period so to see where she is now is inspiring. I love her.
And using 'HMU for A Good Time' as a springboard for the next record...that's possibly coming this year?!?! She really said 'You cigs ain't gonna get one damn second to breathe' and I am here for it.
Gosh the vocal producing on Normani's part is awful, poor girl as she usually sounds so beautiful. Love Tinashe's parts on this!
