Seriously though, Tinashe is so talented and should be such a force in music right now. She has everything needed to smash. Aquarius and Nightride are legitimately fantastic albums, it’s just so frustrating they’re largely ignored. GP get some taste challenge I guess.

Sis, don't you DARE do JOYRIDE such disservice when the album has these songs:

1)

I know some people tend to have their criticisms for Joyride not being on par with her previous releases but in my eyes it's still a fucking enjoyable pop RnB album. I fully stan.

Joyride is honestly my favourite album of hers. As a project it's so concise and sleek with perfect sequencing, and even though it's only 36 minutes long, the songs are so unique and well-crafted that I'm still 100% satisfied by the end. It's such a shame it was marred for so many people by its hellish release.

Her and Britney worked amazingly well together, perfect fit and it was only made better knowing what a stan Tinashe is and how happy this whole collaboration made her.

One of my favourite moments on Joyride is the intro: “Keep your eyes on the road.”

It really sets the mood.

Almost as important as that voice over she did on Nightride right before Company where she warns us: “I will not be ignored.”

I just saw this on recommendation and it's so cute. She should do more of these.



Also, she's literally gorgeous WITHOUT makeup and that thin layer of foundation she needed - make me feel like trash, Tinashe.
