I've been on a TLC binge recently (what an amazing album Fanmail is) which led me to see this for the first time on YouTube.
Left Eye had so much talent, charisma and energy. Such a loss.
Also just read this track by track review of FanMail which was interesting.

Lisa rocked that ponytail, probably my favorite look from her.

It wasn’t a big hit at all in the UK, it reached #11 and didn’t hang around long which back in the late 90s wasn’t unusual as sales were front loaded.
Ha! I remember seeing the chart placement and thinking that was pretty good but I guess not. I remember it was around for a few, it got a few plays on the radio but most of it‘s exposure was the video airplay.
Ahhh, well it peaked at #6 here and was on our charts for 21 weeks(!!).It only spent 5 weeks in the top 100! But the UK charts were ultra fast moving back then. Literally a track would get AirPlay/build up for 6-8 weeks before release then debut at its peak. It was rare for anything to climb the charts and loads of #1 singles only stayed there a week or 2 but sold a decent amount in a short period.

Left Eye’s part was always my favorite. I still remember most of her verse and a bit of the choreo after all this time, haha.
Also, special shoutout to her last line “I be the one to blame as the flames keep rising* to the top and it don’t stop” referencing the fact she set a fire to Andre Rison*’s house. Legendary moment of being unapologetic.
