TLC

Oops I missed the Fanmail anniversary discussion but I've been hammering it lately and it's even better than I remember. The singles run always stresses me out if I think about it too long but this whole time I didn't know there basically was a fourth single in the form of What It Ain't?!

It's surreal stumbling upon an imperial-era TLC single package that I haven't seen before. It has everything. The song slaps. The video is great. TLC and Goodie Mob serve looks. The autotune on Chilli's parts. HBIC Vic-E. And precious contributions from Lisa.

A shame they are only adding two remixes as bonus tracks!
Something like The Velvet Rope deluxe would've been better, but we have all the mixes already so it would just be having them together in one place I guess. I would've chosen one or two classic mixes per single, plus My Secret Enemy at the end.

That said, the Creep remix is cute! I played it at a party Friday night and my friends enjoyed it.

This is one of my all time favorite albums and this is not how you celebrate its 30th anniversary. I have no interest in hearing those two remixes.
It’s also offensive how one member is missing from their Spotify profile.

Great beat and TLC killed it (Lisa is underrated because she truly is a GOAT, such a loss), but some of these lyrics, girl… “You ain’t ghetto enough for me” had me clutching already but “I’ll comb your n*ppy head until it hurts” took me out.

Here’s their NYE performance. Its a medley and they’ve in teased the tempo I guess to match the celebration vibe of the show. Obviously mimed too, but always nice to hear these great songs.

That disco remix of Waterfalls is amazing, they should release these versions or the studio medley digitally!

Or better yet an entire remix album.
