Pity about Lisa L'Anson. She was gorgeous.
I assumed she was an FHM/Nuts babe type.

Sadly she pissed off the BBC with late arrivals and other stuff related to having a good time.
Never watched MTV Europe, so once she was off the Beeb that was it for me.
Provisional schedules suggest this is the case - 13/12/96 and 25/12/96 will be shown on 6 December
Question re two acts from those last two editions: what actually happened between the Spice Girls and Blackstreet? 'Girlfriend/Boyfriend' was supposed to be a collaboration between the two groups, but then Janet Jackson took the Spice Girls' place … what actually happened? Did the Spice Girls even get in the studio with Teddy Riley?
I didn't know this was almost a thing, would have been rather interesting had this actually happened.
Not a bad couple of episodes this week - an absolute 90s club classic in Faithless' Insomnia and I loved Livin' Joy and Gina G too. Gina was such a great popstar and I Belong To You is so underrated. I love a Metro production!
I Belong To You, was a perfect follow up I think, should have at least been top 5. Great production, and Gina G was such a breath of fresh air amongst all the endless indie drudge of 1996!
She really was - I can see watching these episodes why I loved her so much in 96/97 when we were really deprived of pop stars. She stood out in that episode as the pop goddess she was!
She looked every inch a Genie in that episode!
